Reviewers had a great experience with this company. People frequently praise the exceptional build quality and smart design of the items, noting that tripods and stands are remarkably sturdy, lightweight, and very useful for daily content creation. Consumers really love how compact and innovative the gear is, making it a reliable choice for impromptu vlogging and outdoor photography. However, some reviewers were not happy with customer support, mentioning that it took a very long time to get a response or process refunds. A few other people also felt that delivery times were slower than advertised, while noting occasional minor issues with product defects or wobbly parts.
Auto-generated from all reviews of this business. For reference only.First of all, the delivery took quite a long time, to be honest. I do like the tripod, but it has some important flaws. The articulating arm, which is supposed to allow 360° videos, uses a notched locking mechanism made of aluminum. The two sides rub against each other, causing it to wear down over time. With frequent use, it probably won’t last very long. Also, the end of the arm has a hook that gets in the way when attaching the rotating table.
After searching for a travel tripod that was light, designed well, and inexpensive, the Ulanzi Zero F38 almost seemed too good to be true. I ordered right from the site and had it shipped to me in Canada and it was substantially cheaper than getting the same one elsewhere. It arrived surprisingly quick and I was beyond impressed with the quality. After a couple of weeks of hard use (I can be brutal with my gear) the panning function of the ballhead seized. I contacted Ulanzi customer service and they were unbelievably helpful. Not only were they quick to offer a replacement ballhead, they were interested in how it malfunctioned. (One can assume it’s for quality control moving forward so they can prevent it from occurring again). They were polite and quick with responses.
I had a great experience with Ulanzi. Their customer service was fast, professional, and very efficient my issue was resolved quickly without unnecessary delays. It’s clear that they truly care about their customers. I’m also very happy with the inflatable LED panels. They are well-designed, practical, and extremely useful for video production. Reliable company, quality products, and excellent support. Highly recommended. I’ve been working as a film and TV cameraman for over 20 years shooting films, TV programs, travel and reality shows, running a YouTube channel, and creating ads for social media. I also teach photography and video production, so I know exactly what good lighting should be like. These inflatable LED panels are a really well-thought-out tool lightweight, easy to use, reliable, and well-built. A great solution for professional work.
I initially received the Ulanzi Falcam Maglink Quick Magnetic Buckle Shoulder Strap Lite V2 in grey instead of the blue I ordered. However, customer service was fantastic! They quickly sent me the correct blue strap and let me keep the grey one at no extra charge. I will definitely buy from them again. 100% recommended!
I ordered the MA38 and initially there was a delivery issue because I was on vacation. They immediately resolved it and the product was exactly what I thought when I received it. Works amazing and would highly recommend
Recommended Good Products and excellent customer service, Thanks so much!!
Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end!
It's been a while since I have tried to return an item which is a tripod that came out with a defective leg and I haven't received any answer from you even though it's been more than two weeks. I have a lot of stuff from you guys and I think I deserve to have your attention. This is making me feel like thinking twice when I want to buy something from your web.
Total scam. I ordered a tripod from them Feb 14 and hadn't heard from their email or contact team at all since then. Still have no reply until now. I will have to report this to my credit card company after 45 days.
Hi Ms Mary, We sincerely apologize for the silence. Please rest assured your tripod has been shipped! You can find the tracking number and delivery status on your order confirmation page. Thank you for your support and patience. Ulanzi Team
U200 are small and compact, easy to operate, the lights show you what is happening. I would like an app to help show connectivity and to help with post-production editing
Love this tripod I’ve bought it twice now once as a gift for my brother.
Horrible! Doesn’t work and couldn’t return! It’s just a black box. No teleprompter even after I downloaded the app!
Hi Tiffany, We’re sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the teleprompter and the app. We want to ensure you get the best use out of our gear. Our team has already prioritized your request. Please keep an eye on your email (especially the spam folder) for a message from [email protected]. Thank you for your patience.
Must Have! Thanks, TrustPilot & Ulanzi. Top Class.
The clip works great with wide and thick backpack straps and the F38 plate. The only fault I found is when I put the clip in the lock position, I am still able to push the button and release the F38 and the Ulanzi plates. I’m not sure it’s a design flaw or a defective product.
Everything came perfect, just like it was pictured. The stand is a wonderful piece of equipment. Moves in all kinds of directions, and even slides on to a 1/4” tripod connector. I would have to HIGHLY recommend this phone holder to any content creator trying to up their portable game!
This little ball head is amazingly put together with lots of engineering and love. Its small, built very strong and has lots of locks so that your equipment doesn't fall off. A must for armatures and pro photographers.
The worst experience ever... I don't know how they trying to deliver to billing address instead of delivery address
Hi Osman, We’ve checked our system and confirmed that a refund has already been issued for your order. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This should not have happened, and we’ll take steps to ensure similar mistakes are avoided in the future. Thank you for your understanding and for bringing this to our attention. Ulanzi Team
No instructions at all and no way to set up the software or use the dark cheap plastic remote.
Hi, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Our customer support team has been informed and will contact you shortly to guide you through the setup and usage. Ulanzi Team
Ulanzi consistently delivers innovative products and is clearly committed to ongoing improvement. That said, the pace at which new releases come out can sometimes be a double-edged sword—newer versions with upgraded features often replace recently purchased items, which can make certain products feel obsolete more quickly than expected. That aside, I genuinely enjoy Ulanzi’s products. Build quality is generally very good, and the designs are thoughtful and practical for creators. Shipping can be a bit slow though, but the products themselves have been reliable and well made. Some of my favorite items so far are the Ulanzi MG-003 Magnetic Phone Selfie Stick Tripod and the MagSafe fill light. I’m also keeping my eye on the MA38 as a future purchase.
