评价综述

AI 生成

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently shared stories about terrible issues with customer service, pointing out that support teams were completely unhelpful and ignored their requests. Consumers also noted unexpected extra fees, disorganized booking processes, and severe flight delays that completely ruined their travel plans. Conversely, a small portion of people felt the journey was comfortable and praised the polite cabin crew during their trips. Travelers also stated that online booking was smooth and efficient, while some individuals found the overall ticket prices to be very reasonable for a budget airline service.

I have flown with many airlines but this one PHEW

I have flown with many airlines, but this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with IndiGo. As a corporate passenger, my ticket clearly stated 10 kg cabin baggage and 15 kg check-in baggage. I was carrying only 5 kg of excess baggage, and I was prepared to pay the applicable excess baggage charges. Instead, I was told that my laptop bag would also be counted because my cabin suitcase already weighed 10 kg. Effectively, I was charged for the laptop bag as well. The result? ₹7,600 in excess baggage charges for just 5 kg over the allowance—an amount almost equal to the cost of my one-way airfare. It felt completely unreasonable and disproportionate. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of flexibility or customer-centric thinking. Business travellers routinely carry a laptop bag in addition to cabin luggage, yet there was no willingness to apply any practical discretion. Policies are one thing, but customer service is another. Charging loyal customers such an excessive amount over a few kilograms leaves a very poor impression and feels more like revenue generation than fair service. This experience has seriously made me reconsider flying with IndiGo in the future. There are plenty of airlines that enforce their baggage policies while still treating customers with fairness and respect. Unfortunately, this was not one of those experiences.

Extremely disappointing experience with…

Extremely disappointing experience with IndiGo. Our flight from Nasik to Hyderabad to Dehradun was cancelled just two hours before departure on 18th June 2026, causing immense inconvenience to my family, including travelling with a young child. We had to make last-minute changes to our plans and incur additional expenses for local travel and arrangements. What is even more frustrating is that we paid around ₹56,000 for our booking and have received only ₹2,037 as a refund. During the cancellation call, an IndiGo executive assured us that compensation in the form of ₹1,000 vouchers per passenger would also be provided, but there has been no communication regarding this commitment. The information provided at the time of cancellation and the response received later are completely different. The lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. If an airline cancels a flight from its end, passengers deserve clear communication, fair treatment, and reasonable compensation. I expected much better customer service from IndiGo. Unfortunately, this experience has left me extremely disappointed and has shaken my trust in the airline.

Horrible and pathetic experience with…

Horrible and pathetic experience with this airline. I booked my tickets with another website and not Indigo website and due to some reasons I had to change the date. The website I booked from didn't charge a dime however Indigo separately charged me Rs 4000 from my card . When enquired they said its a standard policy although it was not mentioned anywhere in the website I booked from. I know my money is gone but if I would have any other option of any other airline I would have happily chose the alternative.

Indigo lost our bag and didn't even try to return or recompense it

I was travelling with my parents from Mumbai to Sydney, but due to a storm, we were stuck in Singapore for 2 days. On the first flight from Mumbai to Singapore, all 4 of our checked bags went missing. Dnata retrieved 3 of our bags, but Indigo lost our 4th bag. I have been calling and e-mailing about this for 5 months, and all Indigo does is say they are reviewing the case and will get back to me. They have neither found the bag, nor returned it to me, nor compensated me for the loss, which was significant since it contained my Mom's wedding dress. We are extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with Indigo for its unprofessional and irresponsible behaviour in this case. Also note: Indigo at one point said they found the bag but refused to send it to us because they don't fly to Canada. This is also ridiculous.

Chaos !!!

Wooow !!! Welcome to the world of Chaos, where international flights are cancelled just before 43 hrs in an emergency situation. My flight was from Manchester to Mangalore on Monday and this morning at 11 we received an email saying it’s cancelled. How easy isn’t it just to cancel the flight which includes connection as well. Staff have no answer for our questions and say I am not from relevant dept. shame on you Indigo !!! Please stop operating flights and looting NRI’s like this. No business ethics at all. Please don’t book flights here, they will cancel at any time.

I'm still waiting for a refund

I'm still waiting for a refund. The query started in March, and we're now in the latter part of June. I've had to resubmit the same information numerous times, and I keep being told the refund is being processed. There is a cycle, I explain my refund hasn't been received, they say "sorry, we're DEFINITELY processing it *this time*". 10days later when refund hasn't been received, I email again, and we go through the same rigmarole. This refund wouldn't have been required if their app was working in the first instance. The app is terrible. I'm so deflated at this point I am considering not bothering chasing my refund. Is this their plan? This airline, their customer service and their app is such hardwork. 😞

⭐1 Star Very disappointing experience…

⭐1 Star Very disappointing experience with IndiGo.The ticket price looks cheap at first, but they keep adding extra charges for everything-even basic things like check-in and seat selection. By the time you complete the booking, the cost becomes much higher than expected. This feels misleading and unfair to customers. Instead of showing a low base fare and adding hidden costs later, they should be transparent and include essential services in the initial price. Overall, not a good experience.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience during my check-in for my morning IndiGo flight from Tiruchirappalli to Chennai. The staff member, Mr. Praveen Kumar, displayed a lack of professionalism and customer service throughout the interaction. Instead of assisting passengers in a courteous and respectful manner, he asked unnecessary questions and made remarks that came across as rude and unhelpful. His attitude made the check-in process unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant. As a paying passenger, I expect airline staff to be respectful, professional, and focused on helping customers rather than creating discomfort. I hope IndiGo management reviews this incident and provides additional customer service training to ensure other passengers do not have a similar experience. Very disappointed with the way I was treated.

Disappointing Customer Support for a…

Disappointing Customer Support for a Genuine Student Request I am extremely disappointed with the response I received from IndiGo Airlines regarding a genuine and unavoidable travel issue. I had booked my flight from Kolkata to Bangalore well in advance based on the official examination schedule issued by the University of Calcutta. Subsequently, the university unexpectedly revised the examination dates, making it impossible for me to travel on my originally booked date. As a student with no independent source of income, I submitted a request to IndiGo, along with all supporting documents, seeking a waiver of rescheduling or cancellation charges as a special case. The change in my travel plans was entirely beyond my control and was supported by official university notifications. Unfortunately, despite providing valid evidence and making a sincere appeal, my request was rejected without any meaningful consideration. I understand that airlines have policies, but exceptional situations such as academic examination rescheduling deserve a more compassionate and customer-friendly approach. This experience has left me feeling disappointed, as customer service should not only follow rules but also consider genuine hardships faced by passengers. A little flexibility in such exceptional cases would go a long way in building customer trust and loyalty. I hope IndiGo reviews its approach toward students and passengers facing unavoidable circumstances in the future. FROM SONALI DAS 6289377803

One of the worst airlines I’ve been

One of the worst airlines I’ve been! Once lost luggage never apologised and blamed on us, have to travel to claim our luggage back after two days, SUITCASE WAS DAMAGED NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! then recently changed our flight date and time with consultation, then we try to cancel because of connecting flight and refused again blamed on us! Basically an INDIAN SCAM !! GOOD LUCK ANYONE TRUSTING THESE SCAMMERS

★☆☆☆☆

★☆☆☆☆ I have never experienced anything quite like this. What should have been a straightforward EU261 compensation claim turned into an exhausting six-month ordeal involving contradictory information, repeated requests for the same documents, and constant delays. At various points, I was told that: * my compensation had been forwarded to the finance team; * the amount would reflect in my account within 10–15 working days; * the compensation had been approved and the NEFT transaction was under process. Despite these assurances, nothing happened. Instead, I received multiple conflicting explanations. First, I was told I was not entitled to compensation because the delay allegedly did not meet the required threshold. Later, I was informed that the compensation had in fact been approved. Then, after complying with every request and resubmitting forms and bank details several times, new reasons for delay continued to emerge. To make matters worse, ticket refunds and EU261 compensation were repeatedly mixed together, despite me clearly explaining on numerous occasions that these are separate matters. I spent months correcting misunderstandings that should never have happened in the first place. I have always responded promptly, provided every document requested, completed the NEFT forms, and cooperated fully throughout the process. Yet six months later, I am still chasing a payment that IndiGo itself confirmed had been approved. Delays happen. What matters is how an airline treats its passengers afterwards. In my experience, the communication was inconsistent, the process lacked transparency, and obtaining a clear answer required an unreasonable amount of persistence. I sincerely hope no other passenger has to spend six months fighting for what was repeatedly presented as an approved compensation payment.

Lhr - Del return flight

I recently flew with IndiGo on the London Heathrow (LHR) – Delhi (DEL) route and the return Delhi (DEL) – London Heathrow (LHR) flight. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing on both journeys. The service fell well below my expectations for a long-haul international flight. Passengers were expected to pay extra for basic comfort items such as pillows and blankets, and alcoholic beverages were also chargeable. While I understand that IndiGo operates a low-cost model, this level of additional charging made the journey feel poor value for money. The meal service was another major disappointment. There was no choice offered for non-vegetarian meals, the quality of the food was below average, and meal service did not begin until around three hours after takeoff. For a long-haul flight, this is far from ideal. The beverage options were also limited. Basic soft drinks such as Sprite or lemonade were not available, which was surprising on an international route. Overall, both the LHR–DEL and DEL–LHR flights provided a disappointing experience. The lack of complimentary comfort items, limited food and drink options, and poor meal quality significantly affected the journey. Based on my experience, I would not recommend IndiGo for long-haul travel and would choose other airlines for future trips.

Terribly unhelpful airline

We were delayed due to an immigration issue and the call centre did not assist us in cancelling so that we could at least get part of a refund. They rather advised us to try to get to the airport as soon as possible, but when we got there, the airport was closed, no one from the airline assisted and we needed emergency help from the police, army and local politicians to find accommodation at the last minute. It was terrifying for three foreign females to be abandoned in an unfamiliar town like that and then we had to get a flight out on another airline at a much higher cost when Indigo Airlines didn't even try to put us on standby for another flight, which we could have at least paid the difference for. They were extremely cold, totally unhelpful and unbelievably arrogant. NEVER book with them

London to Delhi to Hyderabad

London to Delhi to Hyderabad Return : Hyderabad to Delhi to London, changed to Hyderabad to Mumbai to London. * Changed the domestic flight schedule not just one side but both sides. Initial transit time for onward journey was 2 hours, they changed to 7:30 hours. * Return was 4 hours but it became 6 hours. * Food quality is not good and portions are really small. * No food provided in the domestic flight for the international travellers as well. * Not provided even the water bottle for the next row guy, they managed with water in glass * You'll have worst and cheap feelings in domestic flight as food, drinks everything you'll need to pay. * Domestic flight was really shaky, scared for moment. * Can't do check in online, reserve food etc.. for some reason. Until you get boarding pass in hand you never sure whether you'll travel. * Keep changing the flight schedule, they would have changed 10 times and links provided in emails never work. DON'T USE INDIGO AIRLINES when travelling with Family and Kids especially if you've domestic transit.

There is no option for negative rating…

There is no option for negative rating which is a pity otherwise this airline and staff members from ticketing to air stewardess to customer care truly deserve that.Requested ticketing staff to put fragile sticker on my suitcase as i have few fragile gifts in bag, her reply Indigo don’t keep fragile stickers which made me laugh in disbelief. Arrogant, Ignorant and totally don’t deserve to be in hospitality Business. I traveller 6E 1013 on 11th June and i lost some stuff inside the plane. Support and assistance received was zero. Finally received the reply Indigo not responsible. They did not even took the trouble of checking with their ground staff lost & found section😂…This was the last time i used Indigo. Good bye and I will wnjoy the day you shut down.
