Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers heavily criticized the poor network connectivity, noting that weak signals and frequent disruptions made daily internet usage and online transactions extremely difficult. Additionally, customers faced major problems with billing, describing unexpected charges, unwanted automatic renewals, and a frustratingly unhelpful online support team. Some reviewers were happy with the polite staff available at physical service centers and found the roaming connectivity quite useful when traveling abroad. However, others noted that resolving account problems online remained a tedious and stressful process, often leaving people without proper assistance or resolutions. Many individuals also experienced significant delays when attempting to terminate their long-term contracts.

They made me go to there store only to tell me to go to singtel my former provider twize only to tell me when i got back they will cancel my order. I have to pay again no refund to sign up again. Horrible costumer service
I live in a one room one hall flat, the connection is not reachable in the toilet. Additionally, recently there was a sudden burst of spark that came from the device. I emailed them that I want to cancel subscription due to the burst, bad connection and my new location - they just replied with there will be charges, did not even do a one sentence check in to ask if everything was ok.
My device used to be able to connect to SIMBA 5G network. But recently I'm not able to connect 5G (only 4G) with the same device at the same location. I wrote to them for fixing that. But they keep blaming is my device problem and not willing to bring this to their technical team. I'm so done.
Bought 2 Simba prepaid card at NEX. Interchange. One was purchased at 88 sgd with lucky number. The other number got port over immediately. While one number was being kept for future use. After one month, we went back to ask how to top up, the lady was impatient and wasnt interested to guide us properly. At the point of purchase, didn't explain to us that even though we purchased the number, we need to activate within 30 days. Else lucky nunber will be terminated. My number got terminated as a result. 88 sgd gone. Experienced some inconsistent signal, particularly in underground areas and tunnels. Wrote to Simba Hq for help. They just replied, Numbers terminated based on terms and conditions in contract signed. They ignore the fact that we bought the card through their Simba partner who only know how to close the deal, keep the cash but explain nothing. There is no customer care at all !
Decent offering (probably one of the most generous roaming allowances), but I did encounter inconsistent network service while roaming (IDD worked sporadically, data would go on and off to Emergency Calls only). When it worked, it was great :) I made a mistake of getting an eSIM and paying with my credit card. To Simba, this means: 1. You consent to them using your card to renew your service (even if you tell them you don't want to) 2. Once they charge your card, they will keep saying that you have given them consent and refuse to refund you, even if you don't use the service 3. (The worst thing) You CANNOT terminate the credit card unless they approve it (and guess what - you can't even see your credit card in the App, and need to provide your full card details over unsecured email to cancel) I would only use them as a backup (there are heaps of other options out there) - but do yourself a favor if you do - pay in cash and get a physical SIM. Don't leave anything to chance. If you encounter any issues, you will NEVER be able to speak to a real person because their support is only by email (yes, they reply quite promptly, but mostly canned responses quoting the terms and conditions that you signed [whether or not it is relevant to any new issues / points you raise]. Either that or you speak with retailers at the "service centres" who are only trained to sell you SIM cards. Buyer beware!
Their network is unreliable but worse their management team has a total disregard for their customers, so when it goes wrong, their ‘process’ is designed to maximize customer frustration. The management couldn’t run a bath, let alone a telco.
I am writing to express my frustration regarding Simba poor customer service i have experienced. I previously reported network issues at several locations, but despite multiple emails, nothing has been resolved. Each time i reply with the requested information, I received the same repetitive questions again, as if my previous responses were never reviewed. This has been extremely frustrating, as no action has been taken to address the actual network problem. I kindly request that a proper investigation be carried out and that my case be handled by someone who will review the information already provided, instead of repeatedly asking the same question. Please address this matter urgently. Thank you.
Very bad customer service. Not customer oriented at all. Actually this company is a shame.
I have both Simba mobile and home broadband accounts. Their mobile service is decent—although not as strong as Singtel locally, it offers excellent roaming connectivity and value when travelling. That part I’m quite happy with. However, their home broadband service has been a real disappointment. I’m on the 10Gbps plan, yet consistently get under 1Gbps speeds. For comparison, I also have a 2Gbps StarHub plan at home, and both perform about the same—so the 10Gbps speed claim feels meaningless. The bigger issue is intermittent connection drops whenever two or more wired Ethernet devices are connected. I use a splitter that feeds connections to different rooms. It worked fine for months, then suddenly started cutting out. When I contacted Simba support, the experience was frustrating. They first claimed that “special settings” were needed, but never explained what those were, and instead told me to contact the splitter manufacturer. That felt like an easy way to avoid responsibility. There’s also no phone support—everything must go through email, which makes troubleshooting painfully slow. I tested the same splitter with my StarHub router, and it worked perfectly. When I told Simba this, they said they’d run tests on their end, then replied the next day saying “everything looks fine”. The issue still isn’t resolved, and it’s clear they have no real intention to help. Now I’m stuck with a 2-year broadband contract that’s practically unusable, while all my devices are back on the StarHub network. Simba may be aggressively promoting their 10Gbps plan, but think twice before signing up. The support is minimal, and when problems arise, you’ll be on your own.
Extremely disappointed with SIMBA’s service and support. While overseas, my SIM card became locked after trying multiple times to reconnect to the network for internet access — something that should not have caused a SIM lock in the first place. Once locked, I was unable to receive OTPs or access my account to retrieve the PUK code. I reached out via email and Messenger, but there was no response at all. It is unacceptable that there is no direct or urgent support channel for customers facing service loss, especially for those traveling abroad who rely on connectivity. This experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely avoidable with proper customer support. SIMBA seriously needs to improve its response time and provide reliable assistance for users outside Singapore.
Fine when roaming overseas but basically unusable in Singapore
SIMBA isn’t a telco, it’s a social experiment in human patience. I ported my number and for one long, miserable week, I basically ceased to exist. No signal in my home. No signal in the MRT. No signal in basements or actually above ground either. Their “coverage map” must’ve been drawn with invisible ink. The only thing that worked consistently was my rising blood pressure. I could’ve taken the SIM card out, thrown it out the window, and achieved the same level of connectivity. Save yourself. Choose literally any other provider. Even two tin cans and a string have better reception
Terrible operator i ever encounter. Rude customers services, unorofessional techinician. I wasted for more than $500 just to get no service, what a nightmare. Will never ever use this stupid operator ever again
Worst telco. Purchased online for home internet. Appointment to choose only available on weekdays - 1.30pm to 7pm. Auto fix 1.30pm to 3pm. WHO WILL BE AT HOME?! Requested for later timing, Simba imposed $20 charge for rescheduling. Cancellation $420. So dame interesting. First and last
I’ve used telco services in different countries and tried multiple Singapore providers—SIMBA is the worst ever. Mobile signal in CBD is weak and almost nonexistent in MRT tunnel, speeds are a joke compared to GOMO or Eight, broadband termination was a nightmare, and customer service is horrendous. Total waste of time and money.
Clarence from SIMBA Support attended to me when I raised a expedite request due to my travel plan. After communicating with him several times in the past 2 days, my concern was not addressed at all. I even approached NetLink and they had suggested SIMBA to email them direct. However, not only Clarence did not help, he didn't give me a valid reason.
It took 20 mins to post this review as the network was so bad. Horrible.
Hi this is my first time calling Simba boardband hotline for enquiry. I was served by customer service lady (Ms Meena). She was being very kind, polite and patient towards all my enquiry. She guided me step by step without any inpatient attitude. I'm really glad and happy that she is the one who answered my call. (Ms Meena) Keep it up with your good job and thank you so much for being patient towards me with your kind attitude. 🙏🙏🙏
Worst company ever. I don’t think they could be worse if they tried! I’m not sure anyone actually works for them- can’t call anyone, takes 2 weeks or more to respond to any communication. Then writes and says please confirm again before doing anything. Waited 6 weeks to get internet after moving house- was ridiculous. Then cancelling is near impossible. Oh my- unbelievable.
