If a tutor asks for payment outside the platform, we encourage students to proceed with caution. Unfortunately, where payments are made directly to a tutor by bank transfer or another third-party method, our ability to recover funds or intervene in the transaction is extremely limited. If you believe you have been the victim of fraud, we strongly recommend that you contact your bank as soon as possible and reporting the matter to the relevant online fraud team.
