My station stopped sending signals to my inside thing. I called about the lifetime warranty. What a hassle do this do that. I had to climb a ladder 3 times during the whole ordeal before I was finally being sent 1/2 a replacement. Only sending the outside part. Through the whole ordeal I felt she was looking for an excuse to not send anything.

I ordered a 5/1 outdoor sensor from…

I ordered a 5/1 outdoor sensor from Amazon for my weather station. The unit came but it did not have the temperature sensor on the inside. The representative ask me for pictures of the product which I provided. Then she asked me for my purchase receipt. I screen shot my transaction with Amazon and sent it. That was not good enough! Way too complicated procedures for a $16 part. Will most likely explore another brand of weather stations.

The display I needed to replace the one that was damaged from a lightning strike power surge was in stock and delivered in good time. The unit worked perfectly and I had it up and running, including connecting to Weather Underground, in about 15 minutes.

Great product but missing indoor humidity level on Mini display.

The quick response to my emailed questions about AcuRite products was excellent. I was excited to receive a new Iris 5-in-1 weather sensor, model 06014, to replace the old one. Thus far it is working well. Along with the outdoor sensor, I have the indoor Iris Mini Display, model 06106 and the Iris Nano Display, model 06090. Both displays linked with the outdoor sensor without a problem. The battery had to be removed and replaced each time the "a,b,c" code was changed and they linked up right away. I would have given 5 stars, but the Mini display has no readout for indoor humidity. Also, the indoor temperature readout is very small and cannot be read unless you are very close to the display.

I ordered the optimus weather station…

I ordered the optimus weather station with the solar panel mid March and less than a month later the unit displayed -40 degrees and the display would turn black and not come back without unplugging and plugging back in. The outdoor unit was replaced which seemed to fix the degree problem. The display still has to be rebooked until a new display was sent last week which seems to work but yesterday the -40 degree came back.

Sending Unit Problem

Response for a problem with the sending unit was almost immediate. Troubleshooting regimen is involved and time consuming. They initially talk about the blinking of the red light. Maybe say if it doesn't illuminate at all stop there and get back to us.

I had a problem with the rain gauge on an AcuRite 5-in-1.

I had a problem with an AcuRite 5-in-1 Pro weather station I purchased 10 months ago. I chatted with an AcuRite agent, Antonio, who patiently guided me through a few tests and determined that the unit had failed. He ordered me a new unit with arrived on my doorstep within 48 hours!
