Most Comfortable Shoes from Day 1

My husband and I purchased our CLAE shoes for our honeymoon in Italy, and they exceeded every expectation. We wore them brand new on the trip and ended up walking well over 60 miles throughout the week. I was a little nervous about breaking in a new pair of shoes while traveling, but they broke in perfectly and were incredibly comfortable from day one. Even after long days of sightseeing on cobblestone streets, my feet never felt tired or sore. Beyond the comfort, these shoes are absolutely adorable. The style is clean, timeless, and versatile enough to go with everything I packed—from dresses and skirts to linen pants and casual outfits. They quickly became my go-to shoe for the entire trip. I did end up sizing down slightly from my usual size (~0.5 a size), and the fit was perfect. What really impressed me, though, was the customer service. I was concerned that my order might not arrive before our departure date, so I reached out via email. Not only did the team respond promptly, but someone actually called me to discuss my order and make sure the shoes would arrive in time. That personal touch meant a lot and is something you don't see very often anymore. Exceptional comfort, beautiful style, and outstanding customer service. I couldn't be happier with my CLAE shoes and would absolutely purchase from them again.

It was not clear on your website that the trainers I ordered were a mens size 6/40 as oppose to the UK size 6/39, which I have previously ordered via your website. I explained the issue and requested a replacement. You advised that I would have to cover the cost of a return (£15). I had hoped for a better more helpful response as a loyal returning customer.

Website, purchase and delivery all very good. Style of sneakers I received are narrower than previous pair I purchased. That should be noted somewhere or widths should be consistent.

Scam. They don't honor the warranty period and don't respond to emails. The shoes are of average quality in terms of durability.

Terrible Quality/Possibly Defect Pair

Terrible leather quality. After three wears to the office in fair weather the front of one toe has started peeling. The white leather is very thin and there's a gray material underneath now showing through. It's very noticeable and immediately puts the shoes in the beater category. There's also an unsightly splotch on the other shoes at the heel where it looks like somebody attempted to correct a defect and did poor color matching. It's a shame because the sneakers are really comfortable but they just look like they've gone through years of abuse right away.

Excellent aesthetics and comfort. I slipped into a pair of CLAEs and the feeling was natural like it was molded for my feet. I tend to have issues with comfort, which is why I limit my shoes to certain brands, but looks like I’ll definitely be adding CLAE to my collection.
