What people say

Outstanding customer Service!

I have been making arrangements for a trip to Naples, Florida, and I went through the website, fareodaddy.com Mr. Pete Barkley helped me and on several occasions I had questions, and each time I called he was extremely helpful, spent more time to help me than I think anyone else would in a similar situation and made sure everything was perfect with my reservation! He is very professional, patient and more than willing to go the extra mile to assist!!

I thought I was purchasing flight tickets...

I thought I was purchasing flight tickets. Instead, after inputing all my information (name, address, credit card) I started getting calls from an unknown source. In the voicemails they left, they never even identified themselves by fareodaddy. Instead of purchasing ticket, all I did was give them my information and I seemingly purchased an invitation to negotiate on flight prices. I do not recommend.

Bait and Switch

I purchased a ticket for a flight, then received a call stating that was a promotional offer and they had alternatives I could choose from which included different airports and different times that did not work with my schedule and needs. The agent was rude, and said I could get the new ticket but the price was twice what I had originally booked. He also stated I could not get a refund for my original booking. This is a scam do not use this site. **update. After submitting this review I received a call from the company saying they would cancel my purchase IF I removed the review. I said once I get an email confirmation of the purchase being cancelled then I would look at it. The representative kept trying to get me to remove it as we spoke and when I reiterated that I would upon receipt of confirmation he said how do I know I can trust you. This is completely unprofessional and exemplifies how willing this company is to continue their scam of bait and switch.

WHAT A SCAM!

This site is a scam, do not bother! Website offers great prices, but they do not provide tickets at that rate - they confirm via email but then call you with sudden booking issues and TRY to convince you that you must purchase a much higher ticket price. And then, even though not ticketed, they claim you cannot cancel which contradicts the confirmation email allowing cancelation within 24hrs of reservation. Call the customer service, it is two people and they argue with you. It is horrible.

Complete Bait and Switch

Complete Bait and Switch. I was offered a price on their website. Of course I accepted the $617.64 ticket offer. I was then called back and told that I would be on standby for the return trip but they could upgrade me to the next level for 170 per person. They said I was locked in(false) because it was a non refundable ticket for the flight to my destination. I was then sent an email with a request to approve the changes. I should have said no. I said yes. The result is that the airline billed me directly for $883.60 and I paid them $199.17. (It must be a problem if they screw you for more than $199.99) So I paid a grand total of $1,082.77 for $617.64 tickets. Run away! Don't approve any changes to your reservation. These guys are crooks.

I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience booking flights through this company. I made the reservation for my family because my son is graduating, which is a very special and important occasion for us. I carefully selected and booked the flights expecting that everything was confirmed and finalized. However, shortly after making the payment, I received an email from one of their representatives informing me that my tickets were only confirmed for the departure portion of the trip and that the return flights were not actually available. This was shocking and frustrating because the booking process gave every indication that the entire itinerary was confirmed. After receiving the email, the representative presented me with several alternative return flight options. Since attending my son's graduation was non-negotiable, I reviewed the options and agreed to one of the alternatives they suggested. What happened next made the situation even worse. After I accepted the replacement flight option they recommended, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $3,116. This felt completely unfair and misleading. If the original itinerary was not actually available, it should never have been sold as confirmed in the first place. I should not have been placed in a position where I had to either pay thousands of dollars more or risk disrupting an important family event. The entire experience created unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful time for our family. Instead of celebrating my son's graduation and focusing on travel plans, I was forced to deal with uncertainty, confusing communications, and unexpected costs. It felt like a bait-and-switch situation where I was initially offered one price and then pressured into paying significantly more after the booking had already been made. Customer service did little to alleviate my concerns. Rather than taking responsibility for the issue, the company presented the additional payment as my only realistic option. I expected transparency, accuracy, and professionalism when booking travel, but unfortunately, my experience reflected the opposite. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with this company. Make sure that every segment of your trip is genuinely confirmed before assuming your travel plans are secure. Based on my experience, what appeared to be a completed booking turned into a stressful and expensive ordeal that left me feeling misled and extremely dissatisfied. Worst experience ever!!!

Unfortunately this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had buying a ticket. I went online to buy the tickets and had a simple issue about selecting the year of birth for my nephew . As a result I will lose a day with them plus spent and additional $316 when I could have just booked through the airline. There was absolutely no savings I actually paid more for the tickets. Not to mention being on hold for the first round one hour and 8 minutes. Then recieved a call back that the additonal transaction was decline becasue my bank thought it was fraud. Well that cost me another 32 minutes on the phone. I'll never use this 3rd party again and I don't recommend anyone else use cheapflights.com

Do not book with this company- LIES!!!

Do not book with this company — complete bait and switch I booked a flight through FareoDaddy because the price looked great. After I submitted my payment information, I never received a confirmation from the actual airline — only from FareoDaddy. Shortly after, they called me saying my seats were no longer available and that I'd need to pay significantly more to keep my travel dates. This is a well-documented scam pattern that they run repeatedly on customers. Do yourself a favor and book directly through the airline or use Google Flights or Kayak where you can see real, confirmed pricing. This company is not legitimate and should not have access to anyone's credit card information.

Possible legal violations…AVOID

Possible PCI and consumer protection nightmare. I saved myself $800 by locking my card before they could charge it. This was one of the most deceptive and alarming travel booking experiences I have ever had. I booked what appeared to be legitimate round-trip airline tickets for two people from Kansas City to Milwaukee for roughly $630 total. Then I received a phone call informing me that the flights I had already booked were supposedly “not available” and that the minimum available option was now around $1,600. That is not a minor fare change. That is a post-purchase price escalation of nearly THREE TIMES the original itinerary. When I questioned it, the explanations constantly changed: * One agent claimed the return flight was unavailable * Another claimed the departure flight was the issue * Then I was told economy seats were gone * Then I was told they were merely “consolidators” * Then they attempted to push cancellation fees and travel credits instead of a refund Meanwhile, while literally on the phone with them, I checked Southwest directly and found equivalent flights for roughly $800 less than what this company was attempting to charge me. At that point, the entire thing felt like a classic bait-and-switch operation. What concerned me even more was the complete lack of clarity around payment processing and ticket issuance. During the call, they admitted the product I purchased was not actually available, yet they still intended to process payment and steer me toward credits and fees. As someone familiar with payment processing and PCI compliance standards, that raised massive red flags for me immediately. If you are collecting payment information through your platform, processing transactions, and acting as the intermediary between the customer and airline, you absolutely inherit responsibilities under consumer protection laws and payment card industry standards. You cannot advertise inventory that does not exist, fail to issue the purchased product, then attempt to extract substantially more money afterward while trapping customers in credits and cancellation penalties. Thankfully, I realized the charge had not fully posted yet. I immediately locked my card before they could process the transaction, booked directly elsewhere using another card, and saved myself around $800 plus what likely would have become a prolonged dispute process with my bank. I genuinely believe less experienced travelers could easily get trapped into: * Paying massively inflated “replacement” fares * Losing money to cancellation fees * Being forced into unusable credits * Or spending weeks disputing charges This company may try to hide behind technicalities like “availability changes” or “consolidator agreements,” but from a customer perspective the experience is simple: You think you purchased flights. Then you get pressured to pay dramatically more after checkout. Avoid entirely. Book directly with the airline instead.
