I honestly had a very poor experience with my first “max bid” on a Swiss watch. Because I complained about the process with a 1 star review the COO reached out and explained they were changing their max bid procedures and making it more fair to the buyer. The site is a good place to sell watches and they will work with you on buying them. The automatic texts need to be toned down, but they gave me excellent service recovery and I would work with them again. Changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars. Once they clean up the auto texts and annoying emails it will be a 5 star auction site. Thanks again for reaching out and working with me.

My problem was with the authentication process. When I received the watch, there was an engraving on the back that wasn't noted by Bennison. A few months later, I had a jeweler look at the watch. According to the jeweler, the watch was authentic, but the box was fake. The lack of care in the authentication gives me pause in buying additional watches through this platform.
