Security. With a fifty year old car, it is reassuring that while cruising I am covered. In fact, the only aspect of Hagerty’s service I find disturbing is the decision to go online for the excellent “Drivers Club” magazine.
Good insurance at a no haggle price. Respect for classic car enthusiasts. I have never needed to file a claim but I trust them to cover my car.

On their television commercials Haggerty claims to be a company that celebrates the automotive enthusiast which I am and when I tried to ensure my collector car through them they refuse to insure me because I had a previous claim of a stolen vehicle which was not a collector car by the way it was just a daily driver but that doesn't seem to matter to them because in the end they're just another insurance company looking to make a profit
