My experience with JJ’s House was extremely disappointing.
When I placed my order, I was informed that the dress would take about a month to arrive. Since the delivery time was much longer than expected, I decided to cancel the order just a few days later, before it had even been shipped.
To my surprise, I was told that I would not receive any refund because my cancellation was submitted more than 120 hours after placing the order. As a result, I ended up with neither the dress nor my money back.
What makes this even more frustrating is that JJ’s House states on its website that customers can return products within 15days. If customers are allowed to return a product after receiving it, I do not understand why I was denied a refund after cancelling an order before it was even shipped.
As a customer in Germany, I expect online retailers to respect consumer rights and provide fair and transparent cancellation policies. In my case, the policy felt unreasonable and unfair.
I would also like to mention my experience with the online customer service representative, Keith. Unfortunately, she was not helpful and showed very little willingness to assist. Instead of helping to resolve the issue, her responses only made the situation more frustrating.
Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with JJ’s House. I paid for a dress, received nothing, and was denied a refund despite cancelling before shipment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I am renewing my vows and bought a dress from JJ house. I decided to try the $20 alterations and I am telling you they did an excellent job. The dress and materials are right up there with the bridal shops I was looking at with hundreds of dollars for the alterations. I am only 5'2" and everything is always to long. Another great purchase from JJ’s. The dress is true to size. I ordered up a size to get the dress tailored. The fabric isn’t as bright as the picture but it’s stunning and still beautiful. Communication as always was spot on. Delighted with JJ’s as usual.

UPDATE For June 4th: JJ’s House never posted my negative review with the photos on their website, which does not seem right to me. However, they did reach out to me to apologize about the dress and refunded 30% of the price I paid for. They also gave me an $8 coupon because of the broken zipper on the garment bag. (The garment bag was originally around $8. Not sure why they didn’t just refund the money for this too.)
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I had been eyeing this wedding dress for awhile on JJ’s House. I loved the design. I loved how other women looked great in it based on their reviews. To me, this dress was "the one." And so after deliberation I bought it and decided to do a custom order. I had previously done a custom order from JJ's House years ago for a bridesmaid dress and it was beautiful. Of course there was a part of me that was hesitant because this was my wedding dress and I couldn't return custom orders, but I was so in love with the look of the dress I knew I had to have it.
I had no issues with shipping and it arrived on time. Only part was the box looked like it had seen some hard days to get here. Otherwise, I was fine with how they packed my dress and items.
On first glance, I loved the dress and I was excited to try it on. When I finally had someone to help me try it on, that's when my doubts started forming. The custom dress did fit me, but it was not comfortable to wear. The dress restricted my arm and shoulder movement so much that I could not comfortably raise my arms all the way up. In fact, at one point I moved a bit too much and thread that was holding the chest fabric to the bodice snapped easily. You can't twirl and dance with your partner easily in it. You can't comfortably eat with this dress on because of how restrictive it is. You would feel awkward when trying to hug your loved ones. Also, I loved the ribbon cross-over look it had in the back, but it took FOREVER to try and get the back all laced up.
The dress design is beautiful once you steam out the wrinkles a bit. But I noticed other minor details about the dress which I didn't like, such as how one cut in the armhole seemed as if a beginner cut the fabric, or imperfect sewing along the seams. From afar, people can't really tell those minor details and it probably wouldn't bother some. The quality also started to make me feel as if I were wearing a cheap costume. I also bought a cheap garment bag from them and the zipper broke on first use and I couldn't fix it.
Honestly, I was really heartbroken and I know I cannot return this order because it was custom made. I also know that you really do get what you pay for. I decided that the money was lost and I went ahead and visited an actual bridal shop to purchase a new dress and I have absolutely zero regrets.
If I had worn this dress on my wedding day, I would have wasted hours feeling uncomfortable in it, and not truly enjoying the only special day I will ever get because of it.

Don't be fooled by the try-on garments (in a good way!)
I initially ordered 4 dresses from their try-on range. They arrived fast, but weren't the best quality, really bad considering the images in their website. However, it did help my find my size, and the pictures did look really good, so I ordered my final pick from the site, and I am VERY impressed. It arrived in a reasonable time considering it was made from scratch in China (ordered 21st April, arrived 2nd June) it's super high quality and fits just as it should. I used 17Track to follow the tracking number, and got loads of updates through them (they use SF Delivery, which uses Royal Mail in the UK). Definitely recommend.

Somebody called Keith from customer service was extremely rude when the try on dress arrived in such a crumpled state that I was asked to leave it in the bathroom and let the steam so it's thing. Packaging was inside out . Seemed like someone had worn it already. Dress returned. Stay clear as customer service is rubbish. They do not care

Damaged, Not as Described, Partially Refunded :((((
Sent the wrong item (picture had white lace and I received cheap silver sequins), there was a massive tear at the bottom of the veil, and now after waiting weeks to return this, they have PARTIALLY REFUNDED me. This company is a SCAM. I tried to write this review on their website and it didn’t get posted because they only want you to see the 5 star reviews (that are probably fake or paid for).

I would avoid this company. While they are legit and have competitive prices, the shipping and communication is poor. There was an address issue that delayed my order and no one reached out to solve the problem. It sat in the warehouse for a week before I reached out to inquire. I was then directed to call the shipping company with a signing off message “Hope you get your package”. They got my money and that was the end of their work. Customer service is important to guarantee repeat customers.
