LoanDepot and our loan agent Karlo were exceptional. Karlo helped us with a quick turnaround on both pre-approval and closing and helped us understand our options for financing, including exploring different terms and down payment amounts. This required strong communication and responsiveness often outside of normal business hours. The online portals have been very easy to use for the loan application and for servicing. Most importantly, the rates were competitive. We are already repeat customers of LoanDepot, and we would return again in the future!

Wow so much to say. I had the the best experience with LoanDepot. It’s hard to tell the entire story, but getting my refi was a 5 month process with two other companies. It started with Rocket Mortgage and then with Navy Federal Credit Union. I can’t believe I didn’t go with LoanDepot from the beginning. The issues in closing from the other companies had nothing to do with income/debt/equity. Nothing changed in the last 5 months. The other two companies dropped the ball on some basic stuff which is astounding since they are major lenders. Loan Depot’ website with so easy to navigate, the staff with very very knowledgeable. They went beyond what they had to by extending my lock in rate at the lowest possible number. Thanks again!

The process was brutal for us based upon the demands for information and the threats on delays for approval from the underwriters. The underwriters were still asking for details 24 hours before scheduled closing. This was one of the most stressful situations we have been through. We actually were still getting calls while we were closing. It was unbelievable

Worst experience that I ever had. The laan officer out of California was awful ... deceitful....wouldn't take no for an answer. Kept my appraisal fees. The appraisal was never performed. Won't return any of my money that she out in my credit card. Tried to get me to sign the loan without my wife's approval Her name was Nahed Mouasher.

Charged my credit card for an appraisal deposit. When I opted out of their loan , no appraisal was done…& they kept the deposit, refusing to refund it! Good company to stay away from!

I was referred to Loan Depot by a coworker I applied for a refinance online the representative was great everything was going perfect they pulled my credit I paid and had an appraisal done on my home a week away from closing I was denied with no phone call or warning I saw the denial when I logged into my application I called to ask why The representative explain my current mortgage holder had a Lein I called my mortgage holder anyways I had to do a lot of back and forth Loan depot would not talk to them directly to clear up my situation after a few attempts no one would get back to me or respond I called a supervisor and he assured me someone would get back to still nothing miscommunication and no communication I was left very disappointed and fustrated all they had to do and talk to My mortgage holder directly and it would have worked out
