What people say

Do a veteran that doesn't believe in them.n't believe they do not help

Don't believe they do not help. Better. People are not people that care. I had them and got rid of them every 6 months. They bothered me and then when I apply, they tell me, forget it. And I served my country for many years.

Dealing with good experience Nigel was good the most part but the fact I work full time and he is on the east coast and we are in the Pacific time zone delay some commutations.

Dealing with good experience Nigel was a good officer. He should have told us upfront that would not be considered in the he Solar Panels on the roof, house water improvement system and the brand new (2025) windows and sliding back door would NOT be counted toward the value of house because they were not completely paid for at the time. The notes the assessment did call out all three items, the note that the VA does not count these items. Had those items had been brought to our attention before we got committed down the road on this, we would have doubted the original approximation of $440,000. That is our problem now, would have been good to no some of the foibles of VA system. Communications were somewhat difficult because I work full time and he is on the east coast and we are in the Pacific time zone delay some commutations

I have had a wonderful experience with…

I have had a wonderful experience with the product of a refi. It went great from the start to finish. I was continually informed at where we were in the process. The timeframe for the different aspects of the process was accurate. The officers involved were very courteous and patient throughout the process. I received copies of everything that was relevant. And just had a great overall experience with New Day. I highly recommend New Day to be chosen.

We started the process of doing a cash…

We started the process of doing a cash out VA refinance loan to pay off our debt with the equity we had in our home, what drew me to New Day was the commercial Admiral Lynch did, I found him to be very genuine when he said Veterans deserved a hand up when needed, I retired from the military in 2012 and know when someone is genuinely real. When we started the process I was a little nervous but when we connected with Sohan and Gabrielle after 5 minutes I was not nervous at all, I felt as I had known them for years, they made the process from start to finish very easy as my wife and I are not the most computer savvy individuals, they both very professionally and calmly talked us through the various processes, anyone lucky enough to get these two amazing individuals will be very fortunate.

NOT competitive VA loans

Thought I would give them a try. 100% 30 Year disabled Veteran, they say your service is your down payment which means what? but their interest rate is about 1% higher than USAA and NFCU for the same VA loan and closing cost just slightly higher. Any organization that pushes so hard to sell you a product you should be wary of

Thank you for your interest in our loan products and for speaking to Steve. We strive to provide fair and transparent rates and match consumers with loan products that fit their needs. Once we receive the competing LE, we’ll be able to review available options. Thank you.

We both felt that we were guided…

We both felt that we were guided superbly through the whole process by Daniel Hargedon. The only problem was the delay on the survey step. It would have been very helpful to have received a checklist of documents needed at the very beginning. The process of "paying off credit cards" was a major stressor waiting for the checks to arrive while more interest was accruing! However, we are very, very thankful to have qualified for this loan. An enormous burden has been taken off our shoulders! Thank you!

Mr. Branden Hempstead is simply a superb loan officer and should be promoted to President from Vice President immediately. What a true professional that carried us though out the entire process from beginning to end. He is the main reason this deal got done and I highly give him the honor and praise for his patience, customer service skills and his management skills. There are not enough word to express the gratitude that my family and I have for him! We are so happy to be back with New Day as we were once with New Day years ago and felt lost in the mortgage arena. Thank you again and feel free to contact me anytime if there any questions or more explanation is needed. 10 out out 10 Stars. Thank you New Day and thank you Mr. Hempstead. Wish my dealings were good, but they are not

Right after the closing I thought, wow this was to easy, I was so wrong. 2 months later I started having problems with the septic system, after talking with the septic company I found out that the property had multiple fines against it for not having the system inspected. The property was found to have paper wrapped wire, and rotted major support beams. During the purchase I asked about the difference between the VA appraisal and an inspection. I was told that the VA appraisals are just one step away from a full inspection. I of course could get one, but if it passed the appraisal there isn’t any reason to get one. I foolishly believed them. When I called NewDay seeking some guidance all they said was when will we get our mortgage payment. So after close to $30,000 out of my pocket, I find myself in a lawsuit against NewDay. I wish I had had a good experience with them, but sadly it wasn’t.
