David - Best Guide!
Our excursion was on Saturday, July 4 at 2 pm. Our guide David was the absolute best! Extremely informative, entertaining, and hilariously-animated! Not to mention he was extremely patient with the young ones who had their hands up right in front of his face - he handled it with the appropriate amount of humour (and sarcasm). Not only did he take a photo of us, he 'directed' a short video of us skipping down the laneway while providing the soundtrack, singing "I Have Confidence"! We loved the sing-alongs on the bus, and visiting all of the spots that filming took place. I learned so much! My daughter and I planned to do this in 2020, but had to cancel due to the pandemic. So thrilled we could do it this year!! Thank you, David, for making this experience so memorable!!

Our tour guide April (and driver Dragon) was FANTASTIC! She was such a delight and the 2:00pm tour was a blast. The bus was air-conditioned, had shades, and they offered us drinks for cheap to keep us cool. There was plenty of Sound of Music content, but also some history and sights just around Salzburg.

This was such a fun tour! Our tour guide and driver were amazing, knowledgeable, and funny. I enjoyed singing along with other fans, learning more behind the scenes info about the movie, facts about the real Von Trapp family, and seeing parts of Austria I never would have seen otherwise. Highly recommend!

Kylie was an awesome tour guide. She took us to all of the best Sound of Music spots, including the mountain where Maria first began teaching the children to sing. Her knowledge of the real family's history and the movie is encyclopedic.

Kylie was born for the job. She acted like she hadnt done the tour a million times. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. Dragon was also a safe driver and professional. Even though it was a rainy day it was an awesome tour! I like that the gardens were saved for last so you could leave if you needed to

It was a good experience but could easily have been great if the music had been played more loudly and people encouraged to sing along (there was very little singing) and the screens had been used to show clips from the film with the things we were about to see in them.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We're glad to hear you had a good experience. We really appreciate your suggestions regarding the music volume, encouraging more audience participation, and incorporating film clips on the screens. These are valuable ideas, and we'll certainly take them into consideration as we continue to improve the experience. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
Great to see scenes where the film was actually filmed.
Enjoyed the sing along on the bus.
Beautiful scenery.

I was of two minds to book the tour as I was afraid it would be very cut and paste, generic information about the Sound of Music but from the outset, the tour was anything but. Great communication, easy to find, and comfortable transportation, the tour was exactly what I hoped it would be. Our tour guide, Simon, was both funny and engaging (even if we weren't totally sold on the sing-a-long) and made the trip fun and informative. I would highly recommend this to any fan of the Sound of Music as a must-do while in Salzburg, if only for the scenery.

We really enjoyed the tour and our guide. She was great! We also really enjoyed seeing all the sights easily with the bus taking us to each. One of the best parts was the scenic drive to the church outside of Salzburg.
