As the movie was filmed in the 1960s, some locations and circumstances have changed over the decades, which unfortunately means we cannot always include or access every filming site as it appeared back then. However, we continuously adapt the tour where possible and have added more background about the true story behind the von Trapp family to provide additional insight and context. Our goal is always to offer our guests an enjoyable and entertaining four-hour experience, combining the magic of the movie with the history and beauty of Salzburg and its surroundings.
