We offer a powerful combination of career guidance, personal support and flexible learning opportunities — all with options to help save time and money on your degree. Here, the best time for class is when it fits your schedule, so you can balance it all — work, family and school — by focusing on just one 5-to-6-week course at a time. You can discover the exciting and successful careers achieved by our alumni in our Alumni Podcast here: https://www.phoenix.edu/blog/alumni-chronicles/podcast.html And if you want to learn more about some of our most prestigious alumni, the UOPX Alumni Luminaries, go here: https://www.phoenix.edu/alumni/luminaries.html We are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org opens in new window), which validates the University and the quality of our academic programs. Our students learn career-relevant skills from our faculty — leaders working in business, technology, healthcare, education and more — who bring a hands-on perspective and practical knowledge to the classroom. Because we know your life doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, we offer personal support and resources by phone, chat or email to encourage your success as a student and beyond. And with so many ways of staying connected to an inspired community of students just like you — who understand what it takes to keep going and can motivate you along the way — you’re never alone. As a transfer-friendly University, we accept transfer credits from over 5,000+ schools; plus, we provide students with the opportunity to have relevant experiences — everything from life experience to past jobs — evaluated for potential credit to help our students get the college credits they deserve when going back to school. Your 24/7 classroom is open. Absolute worse
Although the professors are great. The financial aid system is the absolute worse. After calling multiple times to make sure my financial aid is correct and being told yes. Months later I receive emails that I will be purged from classes due to a balance. You will keep getting one excuse after another. "Oh its becasue you are taking 2 classes instead of one. Oh, its because its a different academic year." As a 4.0 student there is not any additional scholarship or anything. I work in higher education and I cant believe that this school that promotes being economically friendly does this to its students. The only reason it gets two stars is becasue the faculty are great.

When I reach out for academic support the faculty scheduled me for a time slot that we both did not agree on. Unfortunately I did not meet with faculty. I also experienced difficulties completely the assignments due to my feedback being given is PDF feedback versus the initial agreement they feedback would be provided in Word so that I could make revisions. Due to this I will have to retake the course. This is very disappointing considering my gpa is over a 3.8.

These people don't care about Veterans
These people don't care about Veterans. They get their money and that's all they care about. It is a scheme to extract money from our benefits and not Veteran friendly. Finance department lies about disbursement of funds as well. Then they talk about systems. I work in systems and it doesn't work like that.

I would give this school a 3
I would give this school a 3. My name is Stephanie Mcdougald and I just graduated. I had no ceremony just my certificate. Secondly the way they do the stipends is very unfair at times. They take their portion of what they are owed and will have the students waiting to get their money. Money that belongs to the student not the school. As a college student we all know those stipend checks help. Send me my money please. It does not belong to you. I started my bachelors here this month and I’m currently rethinking about leaving this university. Some things are just about principal. I hope your boss holds onto to your check until they feel like giving it to you!

Hi Stephanie, congratulations on graduating with your certificate program. We don't offer commencement ceremonies for certificate programs specifically. We're concerned by your comments and we'd like to escalate this to the department for review. If there's any additional details, please send them over to [email protected]. Thank you.

My professor is exemplary with the knowledge and life examples that are provided in the course. The examples truly shed light on each chapter and assist with the learning and understanding of the course objectives.
Communication and accuracy during conversations with administration /counselors/entry specialists/ whatever other departments I had to go to were my biggest issues. On the website log in my any questions contact counselor was one person then he had minimal answers and would tell me I needed to talk to this person or that person. Other times I would have one conversation and call back, talk to someone else, and the notes from previous conversations would be wrong or inaccurate like being notified of an en-rollment or what clearly needed to be submitted for programs, or classes that were scheduled to begin but because of lack at attendees the class was cancelled. The other thing was I would get constant calls "just checking in". In one week I got a "check-in" call 3x. By the 3rd time I started to panic thinking something was wrong or I needed to do something else so it created a bit of stress which was not needed. I hope my experience with UOP is unique and if it weren't for the need and the cost of the program I would have dropped out of the course at the very beginning. I will say my main point of contact, Shelley, was very very helpful and knowledgeable. The instructors also were knowledgeable.

My last two instructors have made the…
My last two instructors have made the end of my experience horrible, they both have not been working with me with my grades. I have been a A student my whole program but these last two classes have dropped me to C’s. Both instructors need to reevaluated for their teaching and empathy toward teaching students.

This college is awesome! I get to learn at my own pace and the teachers are always there to help, whether by phone, text, or video. There is help for the people with disabilities. The instruction helps you get ready for the real world in your career. I highly recommend this school!
