Had a good experience with a seller, sent them £670 to come and pick up a guitar today, only for Reverb to essentially ban my account and put me 'under review.' So now, the sale was stuck in limbo. I've had no choice but to refund the money as I couldn't contact the seller.

Also the Agent livechat service is completely awful, pls use a different LLM, it can't even comprehend basic tasks.

Great portal, easy to use and lots of information available. Bought a few guitars, vacuum tubes and other accessories and never had an issue. Trusted resource and shopping venue.

Do not list your products on Reverb.
In my experience, the platform is a mess. The fees are too high, deliveries are complicated, and the payment process is delayed, confusing, and completely out of sync. Their support service is almost a joke.
I have been waiting for payments for over a week, and Reverb either does not know how to solve the issue or cannot unlock the payment because their website system is badly designed and full of problems.
Honestly, sellers are better off using Vinted or Wallapop. They also have their issues, but they are cheaper, easier to use, and much more seller-friendly.

I ordered a product from Reverb because Sweetwater where I normally go to was out of the product. They sold me a faulty product that used Velcro to attach to a drone the velcro fell off after a couple of days it made me jump through a million hoops before they finally approved sending a little piece of velcro. It's been 2 months and I still haven't received it. When ordering through Sweetwater as soon as you place your purchase you get a phone call from one of their reps congratulating you on your purchase. Then you get another phone call when your product is being delivered and then finally after you receive the product they call you to make sure you're happy with your product. Any discrepancies you have they resolve instantly. I definitely recommend using Sweetwater over Reverb had nothing but great experiences with them. Reverb does not seem to care about the customers and act like they're doing you a favor after sending you a product that doesn't work I'm trying to replace it. Not good guys

I can only vouch for my experience of course, however I've only had great ship times, excellent condition gear, and a good interface for it all.
This is my first time using Reverb. I had a problem with the guitar I'd bought. Most likely damaged in the post, though it was very well wrapped by the seller. Carl W from Reverb sorted things for me and emailed me every day with progress that resulted in Reverb refunding me 25% of the purchase price I paid for the guitar to get it fixed. I can't thank them enough for the great service they gave me. I shall definitely be using them again. They have restored my faith in personal service from a company. Thanks Carl W and thanks Reverb! Reverb always makes it easy and is always so helpful when you need any help or have a problem. Reverb is right there and WILL take care of you on the spot. The website is so user friendly, is quick and simple. I always can find my best deals on reverb, new-used mint equipment to older equipment Reverb beats it every time! Best service even AFTER the sale. Help for returns if the equipment didn't work out for you. Or if things are just not working out with the seller. Reverb is always behind you. One should Never buy anything before checking all your options at Reverb! I have purchased well over 80 items from Reverb over the many years I have have done business with them, I shop around always and end up right back at Reverb for the purchase. Within one day of having created an account I have already witnessed much fraudulent and unprofessional behavior. Most apparent were duplicated listings, many "shops" which qualify as potential scams, suspiciously low pricing, suspicious descriptions/pictures.
One guy I politely asked to confirm the item in question by photography, prompting an obscenely childish response.
My advice for anyone reading this is to get a PhD in the art of reverb-scams before using reverb.

Selling fee and additional charges have increased so much that the ease and benefit of selling on Reverb is not worth the effort anymore. Reverb used to be my first place to go to move gear but with the economy and pedal market the way it is, the juice is not worth the squeeze
