Junk product, junk company

I bought 3 and the subscription, they never worked right and then the company filed bankruptcy. I now have 3 very expensive paperweights.

Still waiting for full control in the…

Still waiting for full control in the app. After adjusting my timer, it still sprays immediately after a flush, no matter what I do. I need to be able to add about 15 seconds to the timer to get it to work properly, but that had yet to be added to the app.

You’re in bankruptcy but

You’re in bankruptcy but, you took my money and the product doesn’t work!!! The email we are all getting is a bot no one is at this company. If anyone has a working unit and needs pods I’ve got some in a box x doing me zero good since my unit doesn’t work anyway. Find me on Facebook and DM me.

Complete scam! Never shipped in 15 months.

Never received my order after 15 months and multiple times reaching out. They won’t respond and won’t refund. These guys are a scam!

Company website taken down?

My less than one year old device is no longer functional as it started leaking into the battery compartment. When I tried to contact customer service I recieved no response. Went to their website and found it is no longer up. Has been this way for several weeks now. Has company gone out of business? Very disappointed.

I bought this supposedly bathroom…

I bought this supposedly bathroom cleaner last year and received it when they said I would. However, when I set it up it would not connect to wireless and left messages with the company which were never returned. I have a white elephant in my bathroom which sucks for my pocket.

Save your money!

I wouldn’t give them any stars if I could! It only worked for a couple months. I’ve tried to reach the support team and no one has responded. Save your money this is a horrible product and a worse company.

I have not heard anything back from them or been able to renew my pods for months now. I assume they have closed up shop.

Shine bathroom product

First, delivery of product was very late (nearly a year) Company has been less than adequate at supplying product (pods) required for product to work properly. Now appears they will declare an alternative to bankruptcy.

Total mistake

Total mistake. Even using three pods (and there are only two of us using the bathroom) I still need to scrub out the toilet.

It just doesn’t do it for me

It just doesn’t do it for me. It is an expensive device that doesn’t work that well and that I feel like I constantly have to deal with to charge a battery, refill water, order cleaning pods, etc. Just use a brush and clean the damn toilet.

Horrible experience

I pre-ordered 4 of these, hoping they would keep mineral rings from building up on my toilets at the water line. I have 4 Toto toilets with special ceramic coating, so they stay pretty clean already, except for the ring. I also added on a year of the Shine Unlimited service to get replacement pods. It took a long time to receive the units, thanks to COVID impacts (understandable), but when I did, I installed the 4 unils slowly to see how they worked. The first issue I had was with setup. Setting up the units seemed to be very buggy and fraught with issues connecting to Wi-Fi. Even after connected to Wi-Fi, the units would often not sync well with the app. I.e., the status reported by the app clearly didn't match the status of the unit I could see. In terms of toilet cleaning, I honestly did not notice much of a difference with using just 1 pod. On the next cycle, I tried 3 pods, but also did not notice much of a difference. I then ran out of pods, and ordered more, but the order was never fulfilled. I then went back to the app to try again, but the app says "Coming Soon" for all of the options under Refresh. If I click "Support", I get a screen that says, "Contact Us" at top, but is otherwise blank. I tried sending email to support, and I get an automatic response back saying that someone will get back to me, but they never do. Thus far, these have been a complete waste of money and time. Adding to my concern, I received a communication saying that Shine Bathroom, LLC, would be assuming all debts of Shine Bathroom, Inc. Having had a little experience myself with start-ups making products, I have heard that LLCs are preferred when making and selling physical products.

The app needs updated, you can't get any answers and, I have had pods on order for several weeks with no response. What is going ones? Is the company still on business?
