Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers heavily criticized the poor network connectivity, noting that weak signals and frequent disruptions made daily internet usage and online transactions extremely difficult. Additionally, customers faced major problems with billing, describing unexpected charges, unwanted automatic renewals, and a frustratingly unhelpful online support team.
Some reviewers were happy with the polite staff available at physical service centers and found the roaming connectivity quite useful when traveling abroad. However, others noted that resolving account problems online remained a tedious and stressful process, often leaving people without proper assistance or resolutions. Many individuals also experienced significant delays when attempting to terminate their long-term contracts.

I will give SIMBA 0 star if possible. DO NOT CHOOSE SIMBA. Aside from the fact that their signal is so bad that you won't have connectivity for most areas of Singapore, they will charge you for renewal fees even if you cancel your plan prior to the expiry of your current renewal cycle.
Quite bad
Can not watch video completely I need to keep switching wifi on and off
I don't advise you to switch to this service, for me I will go back to amazing SingTel
Good connection sometimes, but the other times the connection is bad, it disconnects and connects repeatedly. It's roaming is the same, just that it disconnects more often then locally.
Worst app ever, you can add your credit card but you cannot remove it from their system. Sent them email to remove, they asked for reason. Seriously??
Top up account with paynow coz I do not want to disclose any credit card details to them. However, after top up, balance was not updated. Seriously??
I will port out all my number (2) once I clear my balance inside. You've been warned, I think they are the worst ever telco in sg, worse than those NVO.
Bought e-sim because of large bundle / price.
When i walked in Singapore i got at least 2 times a day the message there was no netwerk connection. Also regularly I only had LTE instead of 5G.
Maybe cheap in S$, but also very cheap in connection. Considder this before you buy.
I love animal but i confirm kill Simba if i see her/him.
Network coverage super lousy. The amount you save monthly from their cheap plan is not worth it. I regretted just using two weeks of Simba the knn telco line.
Fml
Poor customer service, paid 3 days, no line provided, no reply email, no calls available.
Can't use phone these few days.
IF YIU ARE NEW USER, plan go for long term, DONT SUBSCRIBE SIMBA
Simba is shit. 2026 sign up and phone is not compatible. My phone have volte/5g but simba gave me a 2024 compatible phone list... And said they cannot do anything till the plan is finish. Their customer service is sucks, unfriendly don't listen to consumer. Just want to earn money. Junction 8 sales is a vase, asking a question she is like hey don't disturb me im here just to wait to go home. No nasty request just to ask if got other alternatives to make phone call as my job need to make phone calls. In 2026 who will know that a phone line is still not compatible to a phone? Stupid right?Very disappointed. Online customer service is worst than chatgpt. chatgrp is much polite and more knowledge than simba CS. Very disappointed and angry.
Switched my home broadband SIMBA when i shifted house and started getting really spotty connection. The rooms and kitchen all no connection. Only can get WIFI sitting in living room next to router. At first I thought its my new house issue. Then came my digital lock...
My digital lock kept getting disconnected from WIFI even though the router is just 1.5 metres away.
At first I thought it is digital lock issue. So i contacted their tech support. Told them my lock kept getting disconnected and when I tried to add back, their app will scan for lock and cannot detect it. Their first question to me was "Sir, can I check if your home broadband is SIMBA?"
Turns out it is a known issue if their customer is using SIMBA and they told me they even tried to reach out to SIMBA on behalf of dozens of frustrated customers and even offered to go onsite together with SIMBA tech to find out a solution that they can adopt for future cases, but SIMBA refused to cooperate. I totally believe them, seeing the reviews of so many users talking about non-responsive support from SIMBA.
Don't waste your time and Money on this very super duper lousy network. Knn is the only words to describe my mix feelings . Never in my life again to sign up for wonderful. Too good for me. . Wonderful customer service counter. Ask everything don't know .
Be forewarned. Do not provide credit card details.
Be warned: if you provide your credit card details to Simba, they will auto-renew your monthly plan without explicit consent, even on "no-contract" plans. Most alarmingly, there is no option to delete your credit card details from your account once added.
Their termination process is intentionally difficult. You cannot terminate early; you are forced to submit a form exactly 7 days before expiry. It feels like a trap designed to force another month of billing.
Don't fall into this trap!
I will never use this telco again. They automatically charge customers without clear notification. Many of my friends and I ended up paying for roaming services that we did not use.
This feels unfair, especially when the charges are not clearly explained upfront. If you do not read every detail carefully, you may end up paying unnecessary fees. Do not be misled into thinking this telco is cheap.
I recently bought new iPhones air and because I have eSIM on my old phone, I was told that I need to go to SIMBA counter to request the change of eSIM to the new phone. Besides need to pay $5. Besides cannot use existing credit.
Cheap but not worth your time. Besides now you have zero1 giga GOMO and may more at same if not cheaper rate
I received a couple of sms about Simba 'Hi5 to 5' offer of $60 recharge and getting 120 credits (valid for 13-14 Dec 25 3pm-4pm). So, I went to Bukit Batok outlet at 2.25pm on Sunday 14 Dec 25 but was turned away as there were a huge crowd waiting for the offer to begin at 3pm. It was pouring and a lot of them were getting drenched. I immediately headed for Junction 8 outlet and reached there around 3.30pm. Again, there was a long queue of people and Simba staff announced that they would continue to accept clients' top up until their system shut down. Many clients, like me, were hoping to get a chance and continued to queue until 5pm. The system was shut down at 5pm. More than 50 clients, especially most of us were seniors, were utterly disappointed with the way Simba organised this event. Why didn't they allow clients to recharge their accounts online and cut down on clients' confusion and frustration with Simba's service? And permit those clients who have problem using online transactions to go to the counter to do their recharge.
Simba should have arranged better logistics and manpower as a few of its outlets were told not to participate in this event after the fiasco on Saturday 13 Dec 25.
I am extremely disappointed with my Simba purchase
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with SIMBA.
I recently purchased a new SIM card from SIMBA, completed the activation process, and was later informed that the number assigned to me actually belongs to another person. This is completely unacceptable.
If the number is a recycled number that is still linked to a previous user, this should never be sold as a “new” number in the first place. This situation has caused unnecessary confusion, inconvenience, and a total waste of my time and money.
As a consumer, I find it unreasonable that SIMBA allows customers to purchase a SIM card when the number is clearly not ready or properly cleared for reassignment. This reflects very poor system checks and customer experience.
Very bad network coverage. No connections in malls, on trains and even in downtown office buildings such as MBFC and Marina One. Definitely not recommended.
Poor customer service. Had some account related problems and customer support had 0 accountability. To top it off, poor and slow signal islandwide. Would give 0 stars but unfortunately not an option.
