Their cancellation policy is decorative
I cancelled my order inside their timeframe, following their own instructions, and kept the timestamped confirmation. They shipped it anyway. A cancellation policy is not a courtesy. It is a term of the sale, and you agreed to it at checkout as much as they did. Skin Essentials wrote theirs, published it, and then treated it as optional the moment honoring it would have cost them a sale. When I asked for a refund to my original payment method, they said that it had already shipped and that I could return it (five minutes later I got an email that a label had been created) So the deal on offer is this: you can place an order, but you cannot unplace one. If you order here anyway, use a credit card, not a debit card or a wallet balance, because a chargeback may end up being the only cancellation mechanism that actually works. And read the other one-star reviews on this page before you check out. I am not describing an isolated situation. One star. I will update this if they refund me.
