A BAD weather day in Raleigh caused our flight to Charlotte to be cancelled so we were re-routed through London to our destination of Munich. London flight badly delayed so we missed connection to Munich... and ended up missing last train to our final destination. Submitted a claim for non-refundable first night hotel at ski resort and also hotel at Munich Airport. They did require documentation but all seemed pretty fair (IMPORTANT: Save Receipts and Email From Airline Saying Why Flight Cancelled/Delayed). Just got note that check was in the mail.
