Refund Surprise
I got my refund that has been in process for the last nine months. I had mostly given up on receiving it, but received a text message yesterday advising that the refund had been granted and was being processed. I am expecting to receive it in the next 5-7 days.

It is unfortunately a scam
Tried to go to American Airlines website but somehow ended up on Travelopick. My fault for not paying attention. Booked my flight for next month. I even got an email confirmation. A couple hours later, I start getting phone calls and voicemails saying there is an issue with my booking and I should call them back immediately. I knew something was strange and decided I should just cancel the booking and get a refund. I called them back and gave them the confirmation number just to be put on hold for over 15 minutes. When I finally got to speak with someone, they kept suggesting that I move my flights around for different dates. I told them to just cancel my reservations and refund me my money. They put me on hold again. After some time, a different representative got on the phone with an attitude and completely ignored me several times when I told him to cancel the reservation and give me a refund. He was dead set on telling me that I would get my confirmation in 1 hour and that I should just wait for that. I told them just forget it and that I would call my credit card company and cancel the whole thing. He really did not like that at all and tried to get rude with me. I hung up the phone and they continued to call me multiple times until I answered, and aggressively told them not to call me again. I spoke with Capitol One and they said that a charge had come through for 0 dollars and they denied it before I ever called them. The name wasn't even Travelopick, it was Cheapflights or something. They said they have had a lot of calls and issues with this company. Thankfully I did not have to cancel my card and get a new one. I am not sure how this company is able to show up at the top of a google search, or how they're able to still operate. I would definitely book directly through the airline, or a company that has a good reputation. Save yourself and do not use Travelopick.

travelopick is a site of scammers they put erroneous information on the site to attract us to buy tickets from them. I don’t advise you at all. 2 times I paid with them and at the airport I had to pay again. I even missed a flight because I didn’t have money on me to pay for my suitcase in the cabin. we must even file a complaint against them they are to be banned because no quality of customer service.

I bought round trip ticket and realized I could not use the time of my departure tic. I called customer service and spoke to DARRELL. He was extremely patient and helpful. We spent about 20 min going over the options and prices. In the end, I ended up with a ticket that works for me. I wish everyone in customer service was as nice as DARRELL.

no long wait time for an agent
I didn't have to stay on line a long time waiting for an agent today, even thought I called three times, it was always answered quickly. Mia helped me on the third call today. She answered a lot of questions and was able to purchase me another checked bag even though it was less than 24 hours before our flight. She even called me back when it would be a long hold.
Misleading Pricing & False Promises – Avoid This Booking Site
I booked a flight for $328, only to find the exact same flight on another travel website for $280 just minutes later. That’s almost $50 more, and it felt like I was overcharged. I contacted customer service immediately. They first told me to send a screenshot of the cheaper price and promised a gift card for the difference. But after I sent the screenshot, they changed their statement, saying they can’t refund or offer anything. This is completely dishonest and unprofessional. Also, the website doesn’t clearly show if the price is in CAD or USD, which makes it confusing for Canadian customers. You don’t know what currency you’re paying in until after the purchase, and by then it’s too late. There’s no proper price match policy, and their customer service misleads you with empty promises. I won’t be booking through this site again and I suggest others stay away. Always compare prices on different platforms before you buy.
