Bank account linking problems
During the signup process, there was an error while linking my bank account, which meant my only option for paying my deposit was through my credit card with TurboTenant's 3.49% processing fee. To avoid this I had to manually exit the signup process after creating a username and password, then log back in to finally link my bank account without issue. How many people won't get that far and end up paying an unnecessary fee due to a broken linking process? Then I set my rent on autopay, but when the bank connection expired I didn't even get any notifications from TurboTenant, which made me miss two payments. My landlord was chill about it and gave me time to fix the issue, but other renters won't be so lucky.

Avoid cost of management company
Used to use a management company that took a big chunch of the rent and did very little once the tenant was found except collect and deposit the rent. I usually had to compare price of repairs myself to avoid their “experts”. Turbo tenant lets tenants know when rent is due and when they are late. Rent is deposited for you. I was able to screen and find my own tenant saving me a months rent commission to the management company. I only rent out one home but this totally works for me. Their support is great. They even provided video explanations and follow up emails.

TurboTenent the best Landloard management great tool.
I’ve been testing TurboTenant as a small landlord managing multiple properties, and overall it has been a very helpful tool for organizing operations. What I like the most is the centralization — having applications, lease documents, set charges, payment tracking, and communication in one place makes day-to-day management much easier. For independent landlords who don’t have a full system in place, this brings a level of structure and professionalism that’s hard to achieve manually. The platform is especially strong for: Collecting and organizing tenant applications Managing leases and documentation Tracking payments and generating records Keeping communication organized Cash flow tracking and deeper financial insights are limited, so I still rely on my own system for that. Also, while the platform is very functional, some areas of the interface could be more intuitive and streamlined. Overall, I would recommend TurboTenant to small and mid-size landlords who want to bring more organization and structure to their process without overcomplicating things. It’s a solid tool — especially when used as part of a broader system rather than the only solution.

You keep forgetting my bank account information every month so it charges me an extra 20 dollars to pay my rent. I've talked to customer service and nothing worked. I wish I could go back to the good old days where you could just pay in cash and be done with it.

In some cases, bank accounts connected through a login may require periodic re-authentication due to security requirements set by the financial institution. When that step isn’t completed, payments may default to a card, which can include processing fees. To help avoid this going forward, we recommend linking your bank account manually instead of through a bank login, which typically prevents these re-authentication interruptions. We’ve also followed up with you directly via email so we can walk through this together and make sure everything is set up correctly moving forward!

Works great so far. Lots of very nice features. They have some security measure that if left uncompleted, will lock you out. The team seemed to be responsive and polite, though.
