The amount shown on the website was 20$ but they charged 230 on the credit card. Luckily, the CC company blocked the transaction and flagged it as fraud.

Charged $390 instead $40 and no response since 3 days
Update 28.08.: UK ETA Online answered here below, thanks for that. But I have neither received the chargeback yet nor they answered me via e-Mail... I will update again if something changes Charged $390 instead of the approximately £40 shown – no response I used uketaonline.net believing I was applying for a UK ETA. During checkout, the amount appeared to be approximately £40. However, my credit card was subsequently charged USD 390. I did not upload a passport photo or a photo of myself, so my application was not complete. I also checked my ETA status using the official UK government service and no ETA had been issued at that point. Within 24 hours of placing the order, I contacted UK ETA Online requesting cancellation and a full refund in accordance with their stated 24-hour cancellation policy. It has now been three days and I have received neither a response nor an ETA, despite the website advertising a 24-hour standard service. I have contacted them again and am currently waiting for a response and refund. I will update this review if the company responds or refunds the payment.

What a pathetic hidden rip-off, you will go bust fast!
Gee, this website bought the first place on a Google search, so stupid me, I clicked on it. The official fee is GBP 20.-, but then when paying, it ends up at USD USD 195. Pathetic rip-off, so they will make some money and disappear real quick.... Pathetic! And look at the reply, liars as well, or utterly incompetent? This is the email I got after the order: Dear Paul, Thank you for your order. We have received your payment and are now processing your document. !!HIDDEN FEE!! Successful refund though. Said the visa would be £20, charged me 169€. I called them, someone answered the phone and hung up on me after I explained the issue. Didn't pick up the phone the next 3 times I tried calling, only when I called with a blocked caller ID was my call answered. I had filled out a refund contact form in the meantime, which they claimed to have already processed (however the confirmation email came immediately after I sent off the contact form, so at this point I wasn't sure any of this was legit). The gentleman on the phone kept referring to the successfully processed refund instead of listening to me or answer my questions. Very frustrating and unprofessional interaction. Kept telling me they were a private company, hence the service fee, ignored my questions about where and when they inform the applicant about the sum, or whether I could get a proper invoice. All of this happened within the first 24h after I made the transaction, so I was lucky and had my money sent back to me a week later. However their lack of communication, trustworthiness and transparency made this a very uncomfortable situation, since I am at university and 160€ is a lot of money for me, not to mention handing over all your passport information during the application and credit card details, of course. Would not recommend.

My mother applied for an ETA on your website, but she was charged a shocking £150 per person. The website also claimed the process would only take an hour. My mother informed me that she had completed her application, so I checked her ETA application status on the government website and discovered it hasn't been granted yet. I asked her if she used the link I sent, but she said she decided to do her own research and ended up finding this website. In the end, I applied for her using the official government website, which only took 5 minutes to get the ETA. I thought I was using the official uk…
I thought I was using the official uk government site. Ended up paying almost €170,- (it should have cost £20). While applying for the ETA I was never informed about this rate! How can you rate this more than 1 star?! Reply on the answer of UK ETA online: "Also we would like to confirm that we have refunded your order as per the agreement, as reflected in our records.". You've refunded 50%. Which still leads to a ETA of approximately 85€ in stead of 25€!

The total showed as 40 GBP but when I was about to pay I noticed they were going to charge me 340 EUR or something similar. I didn't accept the payment. Now I'm afraid that they have our passport details. Only have this permit issue by the official government website with the gov.uk domain and you don't have to pay anything extra. It's also dead easy. I don't know how I oversaw this detail.

Scam! £99 hidden fees!! I applied for a UK ETA and their payment page stated £20 + service fee, which I’d assumed would be percentage of the £20 (i.e creditcard fee). They had hidden the service fee from the page (makes sense because it was £99). Website states 24/7 assistance but their phone number only leads to “this line is not staffed and doesn’t accept phone calls”. They have designed their page to appear like a legitimate UK government website. But their business is actually based in Canada. I have requested a refund, and before you say there is no record of my account please refer to ticket “TID-UK-CF95DRB5”. Avoid this company altogether! 14th August You mention making it right, but have written back to me 13th August directly stating “ We understand your concern, but unfortunately, we are unable to cancel or refund the application at this stage.”
