I bought a Armor 10 5G which sounds a good phone until :-
- the camera icon does not start the Camera
- no user manual on the web site
- no responce to requests for help
- as it might be me or more likely to be a software glitch
I would prefer half-a-sixpence as opposeed to no-sixpence-at-all.
On Ulefone's current performance it is as useful as a flat tyre.
Ulefone - please make contact otherwise I will have to send it back and with a vow to never buy again - please can we have a conversation and some manuals to make it happen as is promised
Got my 7E almost a year ago. Pretty happy with it. Very good battery life. Several drops with no damage. Only complaint is I haven't learned how to import my favorite contacts.
Product didnt work with any services in the us due to them taking out 3g towers and putting in 5g towers. So Armor 9 will not work in the us.. They advertised that it would. Upon trying to get it returned due to their false advertisment or as they put it "not updated yet" within 5 days from recieving the product they refused a return period for over a week. After I told them i was filing a fraud claim they told me they would then return it but all shipping was at my expense.. So 50+ dollars upon them shipping to me and even more than that here in the us.. Id be spending roughly 100+ to return the item.. And now I just feel like if i return it they will say its damaged and charge me more. The whole process has been a nightmare. I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER PHONE FROM THEM AND WILL LET EVERYONE I KNOW THEY ARE A BAD CHOICE. 👍 ULEFONE YOU LOST ANOTHER ONE! And in regards to any reply.. Its all bs to look good, dont think they fixed anything.. They are Scammers and frauds.
Really really really really stupid design. I am speaking of the Ulefone 7E which I have been the owner of for just over 48hrs. I went to work yesterday, did absolutely nothing out of the ordinary, phone in pocket, phone in bag. I've already lost the USB cover. The idea that someone would design a rugged phone which claims to be IP69K waterproof and have the ONLY hole in the case have a removeable and loseable tiny silicone tab is insanity.
I've just switched from DooGee who have that issue completely sorted out.
Why do I want my phone properly waterproof? I work with Aquariums, sometimes I need to take a photo of the set up so I can do tank upgrades. One time I dropped my phone in a tank and almost killed it. So it is pretty vital that the waterproofing is actually genuinely IP69K!
If that tab can fall off just being in my pocket, there absolutely no way I would ever consider using this device underwater!
Shame because this phone trumps my DooGee experience in every other way, but this is a massive failure. When I buy another phone, I will not ever buy a ulefone that has this design. So stupid...
Bought Armor 7 Dec 2019 worked without fault until April 2021. Believing the script that it was waterproof I went floating in the seawater for the very first time. Couldn't even get a photo taken before water entered. Opened the phone up at home, the water entered at the base, there is a small hole at left corner which is the suspect? Has been a valued appendich until now.
Got this phone because I can record calls from it. However, sometimes the screen goes black for no apparent reason, while i'm still using it. The voice dictaphone only work sometime. Calls sometimes end for no apparent reason. These issues lead me to believe there may be a defect in the phone.
Ulefone mobile phone can not be able upgrade higher version of OS
I was buying UleFone Armour 11 5G when questions about OS update UleFone told me that it can not be update OTA.
How can you sell phone which I can upgrade higher version of OS? Time of sell you advertised it will be getting Android 11 update but you said it could not be update OTA update?

Hello,
I am sorry to tell you that the factory preset version cannot be changed and upgraded. It is Google certification issues, GMS does not allow forced upgrade.
Thanks for your understanding.
You don't need to register the warranty, it depends on your purchase receipt.
Best regards

Bought from RuggedPhones Australia. It seemed everything I needed and excellent quality. But after 11 months the main camera stopped working reliability. Factory resets did not help. The supplier still blamed it on third party software. Then the little rubber plug you have to remove to plug in USB cable fell off. Not impressed. No more ulefone or Ruggedphones Australia for me.
okay the final act of insurrection from ulefone power3 was for the sapphire glass covering the camera to break into 2 and fall out. turns out it was ordinary glass. just outside of warranty. the battery was only good for 6-8hours after months. the photos were blurry and grainy. definitely not ix25sony..had to do 3 hard rests within 12 months ..the side bar with buttons came loose at 11 months. screen was illegible in any sort of sunlight. fingerprint scanner worked twice. reception away under 2-3 bars was nonexistent. ..it only just worked as it fell apart. from the reviews of current phones i say stay away. only got one android update
'Rugged' smartphone screen unresponsive after 2 months, not honouring warranty
My 'rugged' smartphone Ulefone Armor 8's screen became totally unresponsive after 2 months despite it not being dropped, submerged or having its screen cracked. The phone was within the 180 day warranty period but Banggood staff refused a full refund and instead proposed local repairs which voided the warranty, or shipping back to China for 3 months on the hope they might fix it without charging me more. Both options were likely to leave me in a worse position, losing more money. Our correspondence is copied below.

Screen unresponsive to touch after two and a half months of use. Using the side buttons I was able to press the power button and up button to do a factory reset but the screen is still unresponsive. Would be grateful for refund

Banggood
We suggest you to ask your local repair store whether they could repair the phone. After you have the phone repaired, please offer the receipt to us,we will refund repair cost for you only if the cost is less than AUD 92. Please note that after your phone is disassembled and repaired in your side, the phone would not enjoy warranty any more.

Customer
Thanks for your message but that is not acceptable. You are asking me to voluntarily void the warranty which I don't agree to. The warranty is for 180 days and this 'rugged' phone has broken within 70 days. I'll leave negative reviews for Banggood and Ulefone unless you propose a better remedy, such as: Pay for necessary repairs without voiding warranty or ruining water-proof feature of phone; or Full refund.

because item is delivered over one month ,we cannot arrange full refund or resend new item,we can only offer reapir service. If you choose return for repair.Customer need to cover the shipping cost. Manufacturer technical staff will check the phone problem, if the phone problem due to the physical damages and damages caused by incorrect usage, you need to pay for any cost incurred during the process of repair. But if the problem is cause by the phone itself, they will repair it. Broken motherboard and broken screen replacing is not in the scope of free repair policy. If you need to pay for the repair fee, we will inform you inadvance.Normally it would take around 12weeks for repairing. When the item repaired after being checked by manufacturer,we will send it back to you. If you accept this solution, you need to confirm with us about the return address.
Ulefone 9P has all sorts of bugs! Doesn't even connect to my router saying it's "not in range" when it's right next to it! Using the Dictaphone doesn't work all the time, and have to press the microphone icon several times before it will. And have to speak with an American accent for it to recognise some of the dictionary words!
I had a Armor 6E, which was an OK phone at best .However it became apparent there was bugs with the software and there was no customer serice, or software development for products ( no updates, no patches) . Also the screen on my phone broke, I had to order a new one but Ulefone no longer make the screen for the phone , despite it being only a year old at the time . I would not recommend this company
I've had an X7 pro for about 4 months or so now. It's already broken which is a shame, the screen has just died for no reason. I'm struggling to get in contact with them. The product was bought off Banggood. I'm hoping to get a replacement or something for their defective product.
A shady business that has taken it upon themselves to purchase my contact details from some dodgy vendor in order to send unsolicited marketing email (i.e., spam).
Bought the Ulefone Amor 7 for my bf this May and already by June, the mic didn't work... Now neither the mic or the backside camera works. We have contacted the seller on Amazon and will try to send it back and either get it fixed or get a new before we try anything else
They don't sell Ulefone in Denmark so we can't get it fixed by a phone store here...
Will give it another shot tho
Ulefone does not stand by their products. My Armor phone took on water while trying to take photos in the shallow end of a pool. The company claims it is outside the warranty. However, they advertise it as "designed for underwater sports". This is a clear case of fraud on their part.
Since they only have a service center in mainland China you can't get it serviced without shipping it internationally.
Basically, I have an expensive paperweight. It that is your goal then buy a Ulefone
I suspect that they paid ppl to create the positive reviews on this site. The wording is sketchy and many sound like a poor translation from Chinese.
Ulefone does not support their products the supposed waterproof phone when put underwater failed in a few minutes and was not salvageable.
They offered 68$ can for service when the repair shop would not even look at it without a 70$ fee. No exchange no refund. This was the 4th ulefone that I purchased for my company. I now but doggee phones, no issues and their Bluetooth is more reliable
