United made it very simple and effortless. We learned to live within our means and pay down our debt each month. Then we were notified that half of the debt was gone through the settlement United made on our behalf.

I'm not sure it was that helpful. I could've done it myself because i'm still responsible it seems and all ooou gotta do is wait 3-6 mons and then cal em and negotiate minus the 4,000 I gave UjS depbt settlement. I still had to deal with it and feel bad and I don't knowhow my credit will show up in the end. Frightening really. It did hep a little emotionally.
