Bring back the Ammern
Bought Ammern slippers 10 years ago and absolutely loved them for a decade. So much so, that I bought pairs for several other people throughout the years. They're finally giving out, so I went online to order another pair, but unfortunately that model is no longer sold/available. So, I went with the Ilsfeld, since it looked close. It's not. Not at all. Slightly-too-small fit in both length and width (despite being the same size), poor arch support, insoles can't be removed for cleaning or replacement. These aren't horrible, but they are are distinctly average.

Good pair of shoes
The shoes I got are comfortable and high quality. I don’t know that I would use them for running, but yes very comfortable for long walks and biking in the city.

Still waiting fir nice weather before wearing my new shoes. But they do seem Lighter and to offer more support than some others shoe manufacturers. Five stars for service and quality. Cant wait for better weather to wear them
Received my slippers quickly
Received my slippers quickly. After a couple of days getting used to the different style (heavier, much more substantial than what I was used to), I now really enjoy them. I have not washed them yet but hope that they will hold up well and that I will be able to use them for many years to come!
Love the Shoes
Took a while to get to Florida from Europe but I love the shoes. Hard to find size 15 wool shoes and these fit like a glove and look great. I am a big fan.

For the money, you can’t find better quality or value. Oh, and they have great arch supports and are very comfortable too! Do yourself a favor and buy a couple of pair!

Although it took longer than I expected for these shoes to be delivered, I must say, I absolutely love them! Very comfortable, true to size. I will definitely be checking Giesswein for future purchases.

Travel Trekking
I wanted a hardy pair of shoes for traveling and chose the women's Wool Cross X style. With colorful socks and capable shoes, I will be happy in my travels. I definitely recommend these sturdy shoes.

My new wool slippers are awesome! They are a beautiful color and the quality is excellent - my last pair had 3 years of near constant use and I'm sure these will be at least as long-lasting. An important reason I like the brand too is that they use ethically sourced, cruelty-free wool. The shipping was fast as they came from Austria, and I'm so happy Giesswein used a competent shipper.
