I bought a pair of Adidas Predator Elite football boots because I have always considered Adidas to be a premium brand. My son had always worn a competing brand, but we decided to trust Adidas for its reputation and quality.
After only two uses, the boots completely came apart, with the sole separating from the upper. This is not what anyone expects from a premium football boot.
I first contacted the Football Emotion store in Palma de Mallorca, where I bought them. They refused to replace the boots, claiming they had been used incorrectly because they were used on artificial grass instead of natural grass. If that was the wrong model for our needs, then it was the salesperson who recommended it. We specifically asked for boots to be used on artificial grass, and I do not believe the customer should be penalized for following the advice of a specialist retailer.
I then contacted Adidas directly, hoping they would stand behind the quality of their product. Their response was that football boots should not fall apart after only two uses, regardless of whether they were used on natural or artificial grass. However, they also told me that they could not do anything because warranty claims and replacements must be handled exclusively by the retailer where the product was purchased.
This left me in an impossible situation. The retailer refused the claim while referring to Adidas, and Adidas referred me back to the retailer. Neither company accepted responsibility, leaving me with a defective pair of premium boots and no solution.
A premium brand should stand behind its products, regardless of where they are sold through authorized retailers. In my case, the Adidas warranty meant nothing because the retailer refused to help, and Adidas chose not to intervene.
Based on this experience, the value of the Adidas name seems to depend entirely on where you buy the product. That is extremely disappointing for a brand that promotes quality and reliability.
I would go no stars if I could. Wrong color. Wrong size. What a waste of time dealing with Adidas.com. Never again.wish I looked at trustpilot reviews before buying anything from adidas.com.
I have been a long buyer of Adidas but they have let me down big time. I ordered a pair of shoes and they still had not arrived after 3 weeks. I can't sending Addie that's messages but I couldn't get a straight answer. I finally got food to someone on chat and they told me to cancel the order and buy again and I will get refunded over 30 days later. I still have not been refunded. I originally paid on a gift card and Adidas have made me send about 50 messages and keep not reading anything that I say. It's actually led quite a lot of stress and anxiety. I find customer service to be patronising, unprofessional and unhelpful. I can't believe accompany this big employers people that can't even read an email. I'm thoroughly disappointed and I don't think I will ever ever ever buy off Adidas again. I'm still waiting for my refund and I'm being ignored. It's funny to think I can't be this size thinks it's okay to steal off their customers
Well, all I can say is that I really like adidas products specifically the adidas shoes compare to Nike.. I just being honest Nike products are not so good to wear it is over hyped by some people.
While I did receive the golf shoes I ordered in a reasonable amount of time, it takes forever to get a refund. I used the Fedex label provided and the returned item was delivered on 7/13 but as of 7/30 no refund. Return status indicates refund will be processed on 8/4. In this day in age, 3+ weeks is way to long for a major company to process a refund. And I had a similar experience with another order but thought that was just a one off. Order you Adidas products elsewhere since the pricing is no better than other retailers it's not worth the frustration to order from Adidas.
I sent you 5 pairs of trainers. 2 in one parcel. 2 in another parcel and 1 pair in 1 parcel.
I packaged them in the post office so their cctv will confirm this.
The receipt also says the exact weight of the trainers. I provided you proof of this.
You sent me emails to say that the parcels are on the way to the warehouse. I have those emails.
You emailed me to say you are refunding me 1 pair of trainers. I received that refund by gift voucher.
2 pairs you sent me an email saying you are not refunding me as the trainers are dirty & you would send them back to me. You have not sent them back to me. I have that email aswell.
You then sent me an email saying the other 2 pairs are taking longer than usual to refund me. So I am missing 4 pairs of trainers!!!!
I received an email today saying I never sent anything to you! Sounds like your staff have lost them, now they are trying to say I did not send them!!!
Bunch of scammers. I ordered Argentina original tee-shirt but forgot to add number 10 for Messi so sent it back straight away. Prestine condition and original packaging. Received an email that i wont get refund. No explanation nothing. Bunch of scammers. Took pics before sending it back and reporting this to irish comsumer court.
If I could vote for zero stars I would do.
Here's the deal. If you're looking for the latest Adidas gear then don't buy direct from Adidas. You may encounter bogus dispatch info along with a tracking number that adds an air of legitimacy to their underhand tactics.
Then once you suss what is going on and reach out to Adidas store online staff you'll probably have idiots who can barely speak English lecturing you because it's your fault for trying to buy some new gear.
JD Sports sells everything for your apparel so I'd recommend them or if you know somewhere else yourselves that's perfect 👌.
The product is labeled that you get 15% off by signing up to give your email and personal info and then they don’t apply the discount after. Talked to customer service and even sent the screenshot and they didnt help. False advertising.
I actually shop regularly on adidas website, either every month or every other month. My latest experience is so poor that once I use up my points on the site I will take my business elsewhere. I have a credit card offer of spending $100 or more on one purchase and get $20 statement credit. I did one order of $110 and they authorized $110. But since they are fullfilled by different warehouses, they did 3 separate charges. Well, by doing so I could not get the statement credit. I asked them to refund those 3 charges and just charge me once with the total amount. They said they can't. This is purely a scam! Why partner with credit cards and then pull such a scam so people cannot fullfill the conditions? As a matter of principle, I will return every item I purchased.
I've never dealt with a company so incompetent as Adidas. I had to return a pair of shoes and I did ship them, have a receipt for shipping. They said they don't see it tracking anymore and won't send my replacement shoes. This company is unprofessional and I will tell everyone I know to ban Adidas from here on out.
I have been a runner for over 15 years and was excited to try Adidas carbon-plated shoes. Unfortunately, a simple return turned into a very painful experience.
I mistakenly dropped off my return package at FedEx without the return label attached. While trying to get help, I couldn’t reach a live FedEx representative. After contacting FedEx through social media, someone impersonating FedEx contacted me, convinced me to download the LemFi app, and I became a victim of fraud with over $1,500 in unauthorized transactions.
I take responsibility for my mistake, but I never imagined it would lead to this. Sharing this experience as a reminder: always verify who you are speaking with and never download apps or share information unless you are 100% sure it’s legitimate.
0 stars.
What a useless bunch of pricks.
First order delayed. Was a gift. Ordered in good time. Contacted with time for adidas to send another pair but wouldnt and said I had to wait. (7 days)
Called after the time to be told I had to get a refund and reorder. Couldnt send item out next day for the inconvenience. Gave me a compensation code whcih was the same discount as I received in the first place.
When queried you get nowhere just go round in circles.
Ordered another pair (only because the person im gifting wants these-I will not use adidas again)
Again delivery delayed, contacted and round and round we go again. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Could not care less. No solution.
Now have been told to wait another 7 days. So 2 weeks after a birthday we have no present and they have not offered to do anything about it!
I was really hoping for a better experience. The shoes I ordered arrived late and the tracking information was confusing. When they finally got here, I noticed a small scuff on one of them, which was disappointing. I expected better quality from Adidas, honestly.
★☆☆☆☆ Faulty trainers and poor after-sales service
I bought a pair of trainers from Adidas which turned out to be faulty, so I returned them. I then heard absolutely nothing for two weeks and had to contact Adidas myself to find out what was happening.
They eventually apologised and offered either a refund or replacement, along with a £4 goodwill gesture. After being sent a faulty product, returning it and then receiving no update for two weeks, £4 felt insulting rather than meaningful.
I expected much better communication and customer service from a company as large as Adidas. Very disappointing experience.
I give a star so I can share this negative experience with this brand. Their policy is a joke; don’t bother buying trainers because they are poor quality and very uncomfortable to wear. I have bought many trainers, and the expectations are low compared to other brands. I wanted to return a pair of trainers and contacted them via telephone, and the agent told me that I could return them and that the claim would be processed. I tracked my return, and it said a refund would be processed. However, the courier knocked on my door, and I found that they had returned those trainers that I had returned previously. Don’t bother spending a penny on Adidas because there is always disappointment. I highly recommend Nike!
Ordered some samba Jane's for myself and my daughter, mine costing £80. Received and they are absolutely filthy inside.
Called up immediately and asked to take pictures, then return and wait 8 days for a refund. I queried this and rep clarified 8 wds, I was concerned as not my fault and repeatedly said 'no worries' then told me to order another pair whilst waiting for my refund. I explained that's £160 down when not my fault and again 'no worries'
Asked to raise a complaint about this and call back, told 24-72 hours. Asked working hours or non- told it was days on third time told working hours. Then asked to speak to a manager. None available but will call you back in 1 minute. 2 hours later no call back. Disgusting shoes and service. Do better!
adidas.com sells items that are out of stock during sales and cannot explain why they do this, they are a very unreliable operator in the market. Stay away from adidas.com.
