I was hooking up a new system. With the help of a call, the web site and videos, I knew what I needed and was able to install them. During activation, we encountered some complex programming issues as the installer had not left us a system map, but the senior tech Darrell K was absolutely amazing and incredibly patient in getting it all sorted out. I have seldom seen such customer service and commitment anywhere. Give that man a big raise!

Much appreciated the consumer friendly approach Nicholas Fuller used while helping me through an alarm system problem. Converted from landline to VoIP and the home alarm system couldn't communicate with the alarm company. Mr. Fuller provided fast & efficient guidance as to what my options were and what might work best. Technically proficient and very professional.
We wanted to use an existing alarm system in our newly purchased home. Brinks said it would not be possible and offered us to purchase a new system to the tune of several hundred dollars and to start a new monitoring service contract with fines in case of early termination. I called Alarm Grid and found a completely opposite approach: great help making the existing system work at no charge, and multiple monitoring plans with no contracts. Most importantly, the tech who helped me through the process, Nicolas Fuller, was above and beyond expectations: on a scale of 1 to 100, he was 110. He was super responsive, courteous but friendly, knowledgeable and patient all the way until the problems were solved. This is what customer service should be. In one word: amazing!
Alarm Grid is awesome to work with. Literally the best DIY monitoring company out there. It all started when I needed to replace my video doorbell camera. I like alarm.com and wanted to stay with that app. They sent the new camera overnight. After I installed it just so happened my current period ended with Strada. I did call them first and they wanted a 3 year contract at over 35 a month. I went back to the Alarm Grid website and learned they provide monitoring service with no contract and a great monthly fee. Within another 24 hours I was all hooked up and ready to go. I did have to reconfigure everything and with their quick response in emails it was very simple. Thanks for the support and getting me a new video camera very quickly.
After finalizing the redesign of the network topography supporting my Home Security, Camera Security and Ai Server Systems including, an LTEM-PA Communicator for alarm monitoring, I visited the Alarm Grid website, logged into my existing account created a few years earlier when I purchased an updated PROM for my Vista 20 Alarm, and completed the online setup for Alarm Grid's Monitoring Service. Within 1 business day, I was contacted by Kalen D. via phone and email informing me that the activation of my LTEM-PA was underway, that my account on AlarmNet360 had been created and that he was finalizing the programing for my system. Within a few hours of receiving his communications, my Alarm System Monitoring was live and I was receiving regular updates from AlarmNet360 via their Total Connect 2.0 App which, was also easy to install, configure and setup. The most impressive Alarm Tech that I have interacted with. Darrell was impressive with his knowledge and trouble shooting skills. I owned 2 alarm companies several years ago. I have talked with other Techs at Alarm Grid and each of those have been very helpful. I would recommend Alarm Grid to everyone. It is not how cheap the product is, but how much you spend to make it work.
I ordered a Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro on December 5, 2025. I received an email at the time stating that due to high demand, orders would be fulfilled in the order they were received. On April 21, 2026, after still not receiving my order, I followed up with customer service. They informed me that the unit is still backordered from their supplier. Please keep in mind this is a mass-produced product. When I asked for an estimated delivery date, I was told they had no ETA. I then asked my position in the queue and was informed I am number 68. They also mentioned they have been shipping approximately 10 units per month. Their stock was limited from their "supplier"- This means it could take roughly a year from the time I placed my order to receive this widely used, mass-produced item. I believe Alarm Grid accidentally underpriced the unit at $196 during the holiday season (when the manufacturer had listed for $250 on their own website). However, instead of canceling orders or honoring the advertised price, it appears they are stringing customers along — either hoping people will forget about their purchase or eventually call to cancel. For reference, the same unit is now listed for around $600 on their website.
This company is the best! If you need help with a troubled sensor or need to rename or add sensors they really are helpful and patient. Such great service at an affordable cost.
I've just switched over to AlarmGrid, after having quite a terrible experience with one of the major alarm companies in the US. (ADT). I had been with ADT for almost 20 years, and they had stopped supporting a perfectly supported system, in pushing for me to upgrade to one of their touch screen systems. This is where I found AlarmGrid. Everyone I've spoken to, Matt, Gage, Darrell K., Nicholas, has been AMAZING! Darrell K. assisted me with the activation of my legacy Vista 20P system. We had a couple of snags, as ADT had locked a couple of the configuration items, however Darrell's level of knowledge and expertise, as well as his patience, we activated the system successfully. I'm really looking forward to working with AlarmGrid, as the experiences I've had with them have been nothing but positive.

Long time ADT customer (30+ years) and was skeptical about changing companies, but Alarm Grid made me change my mind. The youtube videos they have posted and the chat secession on their website i was able to get a detailed answer for every possibility that was stopping me from making the switch. Thank you to Dylan in the chat. Once i received all LTEM-PV which came quicker then expected i was able to install and with the help of Nicholas Fuller he was able to create the account and answer all my question with setup. Infact Nicholas called me a day earlier then my scheduled appointment for setup and i was able to get everything done a day earlier. Thank you again to everyone for a amazing experience..
We bought a house with an existing First Alert alarm system installed. It worked but we were afraid to make any modifications as it seemed very complicated and closed to DIYers. The installer no longer did residential and all local installers would only offer new systems with monitoring which we didn't want. We came across Alarm Grid via their videos and were able to modernize it and update some failing sensors ourselves. The support was top notch - we bought components to upgrade and they walked us through all the steps to implement - patient and knowledgeable. I rarely provide ratings unless the service was exceptional and in this case, I'm happy to provide this review.
We had a previous service provider and compared to this now is night and day Kalen D was great since day one of activation, this company is on top of bussiness i was doing a simple test on windows sensors and got a call right away, i am so happy with this switch.
I have purchased several alarm systems for various locations over the years from Alarm Grid. They always give good prices on top brands, have quick shipping and are always there to help with questions. The numerous DIY videos they have put together, which are excellent and easy to understand, are what gave me the nerve to put in the first alarm system myself. Only once have I had an issue with a piece of equipment that I bought from them. It had been flawlessly in Service for almost a year, and began to register False power outages. I called Alarm Grid, they worked with me to Determine the cause, decided it was a warranty issue and promptly sent me a replacement unit and offered any follow-up help I needed to get it up and running. In a perfect world, all companies would Take care of their customers in this manner. If you haven’t noticed, it’s not a perfect world, but thankfully, we have Alarm Grid, and that’s a start.
