This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud. I was approved for a refinance loan in April 2022, so that I could pull money out of my 100% paid-for house and buy a new one. My loan officer Brett out of Greenville, SC was great, although the "Zero Closing Costs" advertised was actually $1850. In July, ONE WEEK before the loan closing and when I was under contract to buy another house with the cash from the refinance just TWO WEEKS later, Brett was gone and Casey from a Virginia office glibly called to let me know Cap Center was backing out--l eaving me completely stranded without the cash I am under contact to produce for the new home purchase. These people have no integrity, lied and did not uphold Cap Center's assertions to me for THREE MONTHS that my refinance was approved and going through. See you in court Cap Center.

My experience with capcenter was great overall.

My experience with capcenter was great except the Loan finance person Helen Mize was not the friendliest or the most professional person that I have met but all the other people there were absolutely corteous and friendly. The VA appraiser did a lazy job of correctly appraising the property but other than that it went perfect.

Easy and Efficient

I am amazed at how easy and efficient this process was. I was with Rocket Mortgage and LoanDepot before this and was aghast at their tortuous loan process. CapCenter was ten times faster and all of their associates were smart, capable and responsive. They also offer insurance brokering services which saved me money on my homeowners insurance. Highly recommend them!

This is my fourth refinancing with Cap Center over 20 years. I still highly recommend them. There have never been any closing costs, just the temporary funding of the escrow account until it is refunded by your previous mortgage company. The customer service and communications outreach is excellent. An the company keeps up with technology. This latest closing was done online from the comfort of my own home. It was easy and went very well. I highly recommend Cap Center for refinancing your home.
