What reviewers say

AI generated

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently mention that the digital passes are extremely easy to use, highly convenient, and provide fantastic value for money compared to purchasing individual attraction tickets. Consumers also appreciate being able to securely book visits in advance, easily skip long queues at major tourist destinations, and smoothly modify their reservations whenever needed. However, some people mentioned encountering extra charges or unexpected financial costs at certain venues during their travels. Reviewers noted that paying additional money for specific upgrades or services made certain experiences less budget-friendly than initially anticipated.

The entire process from looking at what…

The entire process from looking at what city pass had to offer, to actually purchasing the tickets, and then using the tickets at our attractions of choice, was seamless. The descriptions of attractions were very accurate, and most helpful in our decision making. The next time we visit a city that we are not familiar with, we will certainly look to city pass to help us make our choices.

Worth it…

Not having to que to the attractions we used the city pass for . It was all paid for up front , so no surprises . We done 4 out of 5 items only because the small children would not have appreciated the ROM or Cassa Loma . But they did love the CN Tower , Ripley aquarium, city cruise and the zoo . Would have been nice if there was another child friendly option as well as the ROM and Cassa Loma ... but still it was worth the money .... would recommend

I was not told about paying the extra money…

I was told about paying the extra money for the fast pass would speed up my experience. That worked at sky deck, however, at the aquarium at the museum of science and the art museum that was not the case. That was misleading. Also, the fact there were extra charges for many things at certain locations when I was told the city pass would get me into everything. I’m a little disappointed.

Thank you for sharing our feedback. To clarify, Chicago CityPASS does not offer an additional "fast pass" capability for an extra fee; there is just one set fee for the pass. Some individual attractions do offer expedited entry as part of CityPASS admission: Skydeck, 360 Chicago, and Art Institute of Chicago. Many Chicago attractions do offer "extras" with Chicago CityPASS (for example, admission to Shedd Aquarium includes a 4D movie), but there are often also additional experiences available for purchase. The 2 CityPASS i purchased were a present for my friend's birthday, we celebrated in Seattle. The ease of going to all the activities and the savings were incredible ! I would highly recommend buying a CityPass for anyone wanting to have the freedom to schedule and if inconvinience appears to reschedule hours booked for their chosen attractions. Our experience was INCREDIBLE!!! Nadia

Chicago CityPASS Experience

Being able to schedule our events beforehand was a bit of a struggle, but it paid off beautifully because we were ensured a seat or place in line in the venues we visited. Our only problem was we did not want to overcommit to the amount of cool places to visit, and we opted for the 3 attraction pass rather than the more robust 5 attraction pass. We visited 6 attractions total. Definitely should have invested in the better pass!

We bought the CityPass for 3…

We bought the CityPass for 3 experiences in New York and it was a fair price and easy to use. We booked Top of the Rock, 911 Memorial and Museum and a Circle Line Cruise. We wanted to upgrade the cruise as on the app it said we could do this for $10 per person and while we couldn't do this through the CityPass app, contacting Circle Line directly meant they could send us a link to do so. IT was really easy although we had to cancel the original ticket and rebook through the upgrade link on the Circle Line website. I liked the fact we got reminders about bookings, however I had to switch off locations as every time we were near a New York experience the app sent me a reminder we could use the CityPass there! We have recommended the CityPass to other friends who will be visiting New York already and will keep the app for when we visit other cities in the future!

I bought 4 city passes and we were 5 people including my toddler. When we arrived to CN tower, we were told to come back another day since there was a private event in the tower. When you are a tourist, you don’t have another day because all your trip is planned out by days, even hours! As a result, only 2 of us managed to come back another day and this was a total waste of money! Would be nice to have all this information available (about private events) when we BOOK the tickets, not when we ATTEND! Response to your irresponsible reply: Do not sell the tickets if you have a special event scheduled! I’ll sell you a sausage and then, when you are about to eat it, will say it’s vegetarian! Good job!

We're sorry about the disappointment. CN Tower does occasionally close for special events; we have this note in our app and on our website: Hours vary seasonally and special events may cause closures; check the schedule when planning your visit. (https://www.cntower.ca/plan-your-visit/tickets-and-hours/hours) CN Tower does require advance reservations, and times that fall under these partial closures are removed from reservation availability in our app.

Not sure if convenience is worth this much

It was convenient, but I don't think I saved money-- in fact, I might have spent more money than if I just bought my tickets myself. Further, there were many things I could've done not covered by the CityPass, but since I had already paid, I lacked that flexibility. But it did make the process of getting tickets very easy and straightforward.
