The courier asked for additional £16 for customs charges despite the fact I ordered from a UK website. And to top it all: the expiry date on the kit is only a few weeks from now. Which means, by the time they process it, the kit will be expired. They should be sued for this behaviour
I bought the kit at the end of 2019 and personally I was satisfied with the service. A few months ago I was contacted from the customer service to write a review to the service and they propose me to give some more free analysis to my data. After I left my review, I did not receive any communication from them anymore. I think it is better to not buy any service from this firm. My experience has been negative

If I could rate Dante Labs with 0 stars, I would. THEY WILL NOT SEND YOU YOUR TEST KIT AFTER PURCHASE. They do not have a phone number for contact, and will not respond to any emails. As mentioned in other reviews, I would expect a class action law suit to arise.
I payed about 200eur and they didn't send anything. They don't answer emails. I'm very disappointed of their lack of professionalism
I bought 5 kits, Its been 9 months, they have stopped responding. Its a SCAM. They made a name for themselves and them lowered the prices to 50% getting low of people to buy and then ran away. Looking at the number of people effected, its just a matter of time a class action law suit will be files against them.

I ordered two kits on November 30th. As of January 18th, I have sent them three emails asking where my kits are. I have not received a shipping notification. They do not have a phone number, and their business name is not showing on Google Maps with their listed address in Austin. Their website is excellent, don't be fooled like I was.
599€ wasted for a kit they never shipped. It has been 5 months, never answered any emails or calls. FRAUD
Keep away! I'm waiting for my sequencing results for more than a year now. Messages to the support are not answered. This is fraud or they delayed filing of insolvency.
I placed my order in July of 2023 and still have no results!!!! First sample was "lost" second has been waiting in "quality control" for month after month. Only receive any response 1 out of 10 emails. I have asked for a refund countless times with no results. I really couldn't afford this to begin this but after having a second child with autism i was pretty desperate to find any genetic causes. So disgusting.
Just to make sure that if you see this review do not use this company. They will not deliver any report even if thay managed to deliver a test sampel. This is clear a scam!! Give the money to someone that need it. They will write here a feedvack as if they care about you BUT it's just to make sure they get more customer money thinking that they actually care. I guess the anwers are comming from a bootchat or alike, It's being now many many months and no test result at all!! Stay away from this company!!!
Very angry with DANTE LABS. I placed my order worth 349€ (order #EU32601W) on 31st August 2024. I received my parcel on 6th September in the UK and returned using the pre-paid UPS label 2 days later. UPS attempted to deliver the parcel in DANTE LABS office in Italy daily during 1 month, and always got the same response from DANTE: "insuficient funds to collect parcel", I contacted UPS and they claryfied that DANTE had to pay import duties to UPS and DANTE never tried to solve this issue, they NEVER replied to my emails and never tried to contacted me neither UPS- I wouldn't have minded to pay the import duties, but they were not responsive. Finally on October 7th UPS marked my parcel as abandoned. This behaviour is typical of a) poorly managed companies which are undergoing financial problems, or b) scam companies. DANTE LABS I want my money back! Don't play with people's health! Shame on you.
It’s been over a year since I ordered and almost a year since they received my sample and it has not moved status from awaiting quality control inspection. I have sent three emails for status updates and the last two went unanswered. This place is a scam, don’t waste your money.
I hope you read this before you ordered something from what looked like a real, professional and reputable company. I ordered an online kit on 16/12. I received an order confirmation email and after that... nothing. I tried to contact them several times but no reaction and never received a kit. SCAM!
17 december 2024 i ordered a gemone dna test and they say they will send it in to to 3 days! im still waiting they didnt sent it i did mail them and they say i didnt pay but the €199,- is allready sent with my mastercard! and i send the many mails to send the test or refund my money but they dont react on it! its very bad for them i also will contact shopify because that there payment system! so that i manybe get my money back! im really angry that they steal money from sick people

Since then, I have not received any updates or information regarding the status of my study. I find this lack of communication concerning and disappointing, especially given the significant amount of time that has passed. I kindly request that you provide me with a detailed update on the current status of my genetic study. If the analysis has not progressed or cannot be completed, I expect a full refund of the amount I paid for the service.
