I had originally ordered and completed a full genome kit in 2022. I had no issue with the testing kit or getting the reports in 2022. However, I ordered the carrier report last week on 11/25/24, and have not received the report. I have been trying to get help getting this report that I ordered 12 days ago. When I ordered it the website said it would take less than 24 hours to get results on my dashboard, the confirmation email said up to 48 hours, and the FAQ said up to 5 days. I've emailed support many times, and sent many support requests through the contact form on the website as well. I have also emailed the business email listed on their corporate site. I have not received any responses to my support inquiries. Not even a confirmation that the contact for worked. There is no way to actually get a hold of this company for assistance or refunds since they don't send the reports we pay for. This company is taking advantage of people trying to learn more about their health and genetic identities.
Purchased kit Nov 2023. Received kit Dec 2023, but with no return label. Contacted Dante Labs for WEEKS to get the shipping details. Didn't receive those until February 2024. Kit expired Jan 2024. So I was not able to complete the sample to send back. Have contacted Dante Labs about it MULTIPLE times with no reply even after weeks. They obviously don't have the capacity to deliver what they've promised. I just want a refund. Still waiting for them to give me one. Based on the amount of others who are also waiting, I suspect I will never get one. (Will update my review if I'm wrong and they do refund me.)
I first placed an order with them almost 2 years ago in January 2023 and I still don't have readable results... My first results came back corrupted.. when I sent the raw data to another company they told me my data contains DNA of a black male (I'm a Caucasian female, so this was alarming). I was sent a new kit by Dante labs in march 2024. I submitted my sample immediately the day after. Since then I haven't received any feedback by them, and it says my kit is still awaiting QC inspection. (This is still true as of today - 2nd of December 2024) The kit that I purchased promised a 6 weeks turnaround time...That would be April 22.. it's now been 9 months and my kit hasn't even been past QC.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! BIG SCAM!! I heard about Dante labs from a podcast I listen to (Once upon a Gene) and I decided to buy a test based on their advice. I wish I never did. I paid for and sent my sample back in September and it took them a month to mark it as received their end (despite DPD confirming delivery) and it has now been sat on awaiting quality control since. They have had my sample for 10 weeks and 6 days. I have had nothing out of this so far. I paid £295 (euro conversion of €349) for the WGS Premium & All Reports Bundle and have received no reports, no tests and now my DNA is sat in a random Italian warehouse. What an absolute joke. I have contacted Dante via their website at least 3/4 times now with no response. If you’ve paid, contact your bank to get a refund. These people clearly just want your money! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
If I could I would give 0 stars. It's exactly what I got for my €300 that I paid Dante. I don't know how this can continue but it's a total scam. I am trying to find who I can report them to.
I bought a whole genome test for me and my mother 1 year ago now. The conditions was with a turn around time of 8 weeks. I wrote to the company before ordering, whether this was credible. In almost every case was the answer. But that doesn't seem to bee the case when reading others reviews. I had asked for the my results more than one time. At last I wrote to get my money back for a product I haven't received. But now there is no answer. I have now had my genom tested through an other company (se my other reviews). No problems, faster than promised and cheaper than Dantes Lab. My samples was bought 20-09-2023 and 29-10-2023
I placed an order for a kit in March 2023, promptly sent back the sample within a week, and have yet to receive any results—even now, at the end of 2024. The company has repeatedly postponed the timeline, claiming they would have results "in two weeks" and blaming delays on an overload of orders. These are nothing but excuses. It’s clear they are taking money from customers without delivering what was promised. Avoid this company at all costs!
I see the dubious 5 star Reviews and the copy-paste responses from Dante's intern have even stopped now. This means only one thing, that Dante's mission is complete and they can begin the next phase: Run to the Hills. Like many others I have spent hundreds of Euros on this service with no return, over the past few years this probably amasses to many hundreds of thousands of dollars, millions, for Dante. What's really sad is that people are paying for something they think will genuinely improve their lives, maybe even save some with the insights promised. It's clear now what the business plan was, to gain consumers trust for a few years delivering genuine results, then just stop, put on a special offer and watch the money roll in. They will bail any moment now.
Today marked TWO YEARS since my kit was first ordered from Dante Labs. At the time, they promoted a 6-week turnaround time. It has now been 104 weeks. This is disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. I paid nearly $300 for my kit, and after TWO YEARS have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to show for it. This company will respond to your emails with empty promises, saying that the delay is "temporary" and asking for your patience. At the end of the day, these are all lies and nothing ever gets delivered. Dante Labs is a scam and deserves to be sued.
It was very nice contact with the company before making an order. After payment you don't get results. In their dashbord since months I see only: "Awaiting Quality Control Inspection (QC)".

My third posting here that started with a request to Dantelabs 15 months ago. Receiving the kit, sending back my genome sample, all no problem. Then nothing happened. Via email I never received any reply. Only after complaining here they finally QCed the sample a year ago - but never sent me any results. It looks like the company is now on the brink of collapse - search for "licenziamenti-alla-dante-labs-dellaquila-regione-convoca-tavolo-di-confronto". Try to get at least a partial compensation when the company falters...
This is my second review of Dante. UPS tracking shows that Dante (Italy) received my sample 29th April 2024. However nothing has happened with my sample since they received it. When I log into my genome manager account it shows the sample has been received but still shows Awaiting Quality Control Inspection (QC). This is after 6 months. In the interim Dante has sent me emails re cheap genome sequencing tests. It looks like the company is just scamming people.
