They promised free tests as compensation, but how useful are tests without results to perform them on?
I placed the order on March 27, 2025. DanteLabs acknowledge receipt of the kit on May 3. We are now on August 16 and I still have not received my results. This is unacceptably poor quality of service. At this point I don't even know if they are ever going to revert, and feel like my money was stolen.

I have given for genome test in 2023 during black friday, they always put good offer, but after a year in 2024 when I had followed up a lot they said they have moved my case to quality sequencing and I will get my answer soon, and it took again 6 months, when I asked for refund they said they don't have refund policy. so you put in money its gone and no result. now its 2025.

I used them for my whole genome sequencing and it went fine. But then I tried to get it done for my daughter. It's been almost two years and they still don't have a result for her. We did misplace one tracking number, but they couldn't process the sample or just tell us the number. Then they lost another sample. Then they've been sitting on the one we sent in over a year ago and it just says "in processing." I'm guessing it'll never get done. They aren't responding to any attempt to contact them. Avoid.
Ordered 2 kits for myself and my wife in May, 2024. We followed all the steps and were told in June, 2024 our kits were in Quality Control Review and the results could be expected in August, 2024. They last responded to our email in August, 2024 telling us the kits were still in a QC Review. Since then they have ignored all emails. I have received nothing, no communication, information or our WGS data. Side point - the window for disputing through our credit card company is 65 days. The Dante Customer Service(?) responses to our emails stopped after the window closed for disputing the charges. I opened a case though the BBB. Interesting point - Dante is NOT a member of the BBB and ignored their request for information regarding my complaint. Don't waste your money. The headaches are not worth it.
I ordered the 750USD kit. Did everything according to instruction, never received the report. Have contacted them several times through support and no answer. At this point can only conclude that it is a scam.
Scam alert ! I ordered my full dna Premium + All Reports Bundle on may 17th, 2025. Albeit my emails and contacts through their website, they didn’t answer any of my messages and I haven’t received my kit nor my refund. Now, I wouldn’t trust them with my dna data and don’t recommend their services. Save your money.
I was afraid I'd never get my results (from January 2024) but I finally received them now in June 2025. As I understood the company was in a lot of problems but seems to be coming back now. The customer support is replying again and after that they really did start sequencing when they said my batch would start. Since I already used their service back in the days before the problems started I checked the kinship factor (my 2nd kit was for a parent) and the data appeared good; the number of reads also and the free reports were ok. Hopeful they manage to normalize their operations and provide everybody with the data. I always expected more delay with them, which was ok for the great price, but I was really afraid I wouldn't get results when the problems started, however I'm happy I finally got my results so I'm updating my review to 4 stars.
Bought it, registered kit, arrived and received by them...then nothing else. To make matters worse, the website has since completely changed its layout: the kit ID is no longer visible, and there is no way to track the status of the analysis. They also do not reply to emails, and there is no reliable support channel available.

Ho un dossier con decine di mail da me inviate in questi anni. I purchased the WGS service from Dante Labs in March 2023. I have received no updates. In February 2025, they called me by phone regarding a refund and asked for my bank details, only to disappear again. Their customer service is non-existent. I have a folder with dozens of emails I’ve sent over the years.
They will simply ignore support messages when you make a request for a refund and completely ghost you while keeping your money. I'm surprised they've been able to stay in business while operating what is essentially a scam. Avoid at all costs. Do not send them any money.
I placed my order in November 2024 (Order ID: EU33267W, Kit ID: GFXC964183) and returned the sample as instructed. It has now been more than 6 months, and I have not received any test results. I have contacted customer support multiple times and have received absolutely no response. This complete lack of communication is unacceptable and unprofessional. At this point, I no longer want the service — I just want a full refund. If this company does not respond soon, I will be forced to take legal action and report them to consumer protection authorities. I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Dante Labs. Based on my experience, their customer service is nonexistent, and they do not deliver what they promise.

Absolute scam! One needs to ask… Aside from the obvious financial gain, what else are they gaining? It’s of serious concern that this company has access to the genomic data of thousands of people, is not providing said people with the data, not disclosing what they are actually doing with said data…..this needs investigating urgently. It is now coming up to 3 years since I sent my sample and I am yet to receive anything. It’s about time the victims of this company band together and take actions, I will certainly be on board with that.
