What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Consumers frequently face sudden account lockouts without any advance warning and struggle to reach customer support. People note that automated chatbots and online contact forms are completely unhelpful when trying to resolve urgent and frustrating login issues. Some reviewers were happy with past experiences, noting the email provider used to be reliable and very easy to set up. Others mentioned that the platform was quite functional, offering good features and a superior service before recent updates. A few users also pointed out that basic features worked exceptionally well for standard free accounts previously.

I have tried many times with different…

I have tried many times with different browsers to delete my mail.com account and it keeps coming up "Oops, something went wrong! I have tried so many times that this is tiring and others have had the same problem for months! Can someone solve this issue?? Please??

IF YOU NEED TO USE EMAIL - AVOID. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

Yes.. You can get email for free. But there are other free email hosts that will save you aggravation of dealing with these clowns. In fact, it's well worth paying for email to avoid these idiots. There is absolutely NO Support. Period. I've lost several email addresses simply because this was convenient at the time. So, my bad. Yes, I may be lazy. So I guess I deserve these morons. Lesson learned.

You could lose all your e-mails

I would have previously given a good rating but please do NOT use mail.com. People - including me - have been unable to log in now for days. There's no way of contacting support, the Facebook page auto responds that they can't fix problems and just directs people to an AI chat that can't help, and comments on the Facebook page about the problem are ignored. And they're clearly seeing the comments as they're posting new things, while just blatantly ignoring people's requests for help. You could lose all your e-mails and e-mail access if you use mail.com so please don't use the website.

Mail.com is NO help!

I have had my email account with mail.com for many, many years. I tried to log in last night and I keep getting an error message that says "too many failed attempts" and those attempts were not made by me, so i think I've been hacked. I tried to reach out online, but if you're not a Premium customer, they don't care about you. I put in 2 separate requests to regain access to my email account as it contains personal and time sensitive information, but I haven't heard back. The online chat is a robot and completely useless. I've been hacked and this is an urgent need and no one is helping me. If I could give zero stars I would. So frustrated right now!

Company on the Way Down

What use to be a good email service now continues to decline. Latest is "locking out" customers though what appears to be system failure. (I'm not the only one posting this today.) I called Customer Service to see what progress was being made. Yes, I'm a paying customer. I'd love to report what the response was, but after 35 minutes, I was still on hold. It will be a pain, but I'm leaving Mail.com when my current payment period ends.

I’ve been using mail.com as my primary email for a number of years now. I like the lack of spam, but I changed my password due to a data breach but have now been locked out of my account. I’ve tried contacting them to no avail. The AI chat just sends you around in circles and contacting them via the form results in absolutely nothing, not even a ticket to say they’ve received anything. I have now lost some important documents that I am unable to get back. I am not a premium member so I am not eligible for phone support.

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. Like others, have had my Premium account for many years yet suddenly was locked out of everything and unable to access years worth of important stuff. No response to any contact forms completed or emails sent from alternative accounts. DO NOT use

Blocked my account after 2 days and you…

Blocked my account after 2 days and you can’t get a human response despite the fact it says contact us for help. It’s impossible for me to know who has responded to some important emails now and as they were potential customers I either have to email them again and look unprofessional if they had already responded, or just loose out. I don’t advise using Mail.com as the chances are, you’ll be blocked within a couple of days.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Created an account that was blocked within 24 hours for no reason and then its impossible to get any support. AI bot that just repeats the same conversation. filled in the contact form 5 times over a week with no response at all. I would say its a scam but its probably just a really useless email account AVOID AVOID AVOID

will block your account for no reason!

Set up an account for work. They blocked the account for no reason and despite contacting them several times, no response and no reactivation. It means I had to create another email elsewhere and try to contact everyone again. This was not only a hassle but very embarrassing! Ohh also its full of adverts in your actual inbox, which is just annoying.
