Ended hot spot / tethering without saying anything!
I have used red pocket for many years and they were quite good. This year, without saying anything, they eliminated hot spot/tethering from all but their most expensive plan. If like me, you only occasionally use the phone as a hot spot (but really need it when I need it!), then this will be a deal-breaker for you. The annoying part is that there was no mention of this in the information about auto-renew on the red pocket website, or on the eBay store web pages!
Frustrating experience
Frustrating experience – Spent hours with support and still have an invalid SIM Avoid the headache. I bought this plan thinking it would be a simple and easy activation process, but it has been far from that. I’ve spent almost 3 hours across more than 3 separate calls to customer service trying to get my activation codes and get the service running. Despite all that time, I still have no answers and the SIM card absolutely refuses to work. I even tried inserting it into two different unlocked, VoLTE-compatible phones to isolate the issue, and both just say "invalid SIM/invalid card." I reached out to their support team directly to give them a chance to fix this before posting a review, but they did absolutely nothing to help solve the actual problem. Please be aware before ordering from this company—it is highly problematic. If they want to make this right, they can reach out to me, actually help solve the issue, and I would be happy to remove this review. Great Company Except for Customer Support
I have been with RedPocket for several years and have been totally satisfied with everything except customer service. For example, today I called to setup a new phone. The rep spoke with such a foreign accent that I could not understand her. I called back, same thing. After 4 times, I finally got a man who spoke a little better English. They need a customer service that speaks American English.

Red pocket mobile is a scam!!!!. I bought the $30 yearly plan from eBay for my family and my self. I bought about 9 lines . I clearly asked the customer support team if I could add more than one line on my account and they accepted. It’s has not been up to two weeks and they suspended all the lines without giving me a valid reason for doing that. To top it off they even deleted my account and I can’t ask for a refund . Scammers scammers scammers And they advised me against red pocket I didn’t listen Scammers Scammers. I need my $300+ refunded
