What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently reported frustrating encounters with unhelpful customer support, lengthy waiting times on the phone, and unexpected price increases on their monthly bills. Many individuals also struggled with unreliable network coverage, frequent dropped calls, and unexpected connection issues following recent company transitions. However, some reviewers were happy with the knowledgeable and polite store staff who consistently provided patient and attentive assistance. These customers truly appreciated the dedicated professional support they received during their direct visits to local service centers. People noted that dealing with representatives in person was often much better than handling issues over the phone.

Thank God for Patience

I have been with T-Mobile almost 11 years and if it wasn’t for my Job, I would switch carriers. I have been dealing with an issue for the last 8 months. No only person that felt what I was going through was the agent last night. She was very apologetic and helped me to resolve the issue. I thank God for patience. May, thank you for your customer service.

Read all the negative reviews. I wish I did.

I’ve been over charged 3 months in a row. Then my next bill is for the correct amount and now it’s incorrect amount. I’m told it will be corrected and it hasn’t. I don’t know what’s going on with their cell towers, since the day I switched to TMoble, the service is lousy. I never got 4 bars, only 3. The last week of July, the bars varied from 2-3 bars. When it gets down to 2, my call drops or I can’t make a call. I never had this problem before when I was with Metro by TMoble which is rather funny considering TMoble owns Metro. Save your money and skip TMoble, you’ll be glad you did. As for customer service, OMG where do I start?

I was forced into T Mobile from US…

I was forced into T Mobile from US Cellular, not by my choice. I have been trying to get in touch with the store nearest to me (25 miles away) in portage Wi, nobody picks up the phone. I chose a different option hoping to get a human on the line which I did, she asked for my number I gave it then asked for my pin. If I am in their system my number should be all that is needed, I declined and hung up. The store is open till 7pm, I have called and called. I’ll be taking my business to Verizon at least they answer the phone! The T Mobile customer service is beyond poor it is non existent.

What happened when I moved and took…

I moved from San Angelo, Tx to Tyler, Tx. It seemed to make no sense for me to continue using T-Mobile when the new landlord in Tyler was setting up another internet connection service. I go to a local T-Mobile store in Tyler and gave them the T-Mobile transmitter that I had been using with a request to terminate my service with T-Mobile. I was told that the local office was taking care of the transmitter return and I needed to call a certain 800 number to terminate my T-Mobile service. I became very irritated and angry when a recording bombarded me with endless sales pitches for this, that, and the other, instead of giving me the opportunity to simply end my T-Mobile service. To make matters worse they twice hung up on me when they found I wasn't going to buy X,Y, or Z. I blame corporate management far more than I do the local T-Mobile office. What happened to business ethics? Where is their basic sense of right and wrong? Obstructing a customer's efforts to end service and resorting to high pressure sales tactics is despicable but unfortunately that is exactly what they did. In my opinion the CEO whoever he is should be ordered to pay billions of dollars in fines for greedy unethical high pressure sales tactics and obstruction of the customer's efforts to end service with T-Mobile.

Constantly buffering or dropped

I’m only running one tv off of my Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is constantly buffering and/or freezing. My cell phones data also freezes when the Wi-Fi does even though my phone is not connected to Wi-Fi. Horrible service!

I returned a Motorola razr+ 2025

I returned a Motorola razr+ 2025. It was paid in full. They gave me $93.92 in a refund when I’m owed $671.43. They give you a hard time about getting your money back when your device is paid in full. I plan on consulting with my attorney to get my money back and possibly going to my local news station to tell them my my experience with t mobile.

Shout out to staff member Tristlynn!

Shout out to staff member Tristlynn! Can't say enough positive about his customer service and the time he spent trying to solve a phone issue for me. Give him a raise and promotion. This was in the Wisconsin Rapids store.

I went to the West Bend store because of an issue with my phone. Lady told me 2 hour wait time. The lady in front of me just had to pay a bill and probably had to wait over an hour. Very poor customer service. US Cellular was the best these guys suck.

Trash service

Trash service! How do you buy another cell phone company & get worse coverage? I've had more dead spots & dropped more calls since T-Mobile merged with US Cellular, than I've had in the last 20yrs! If you're considering T-Mobile, find a friend to shake some sense into you.

Experience store vs. an authorized dealer store (which means they are a franchise)

The individual manager named "Q" spent an hour with us (on cancelling our account) - to provide an unlocked IMEI - we visited a previous T-Mobile store twice and learned they were not an "experience" store which is where you have to go to get into the system of T-Mobile "Q" and her employee "shawn" were outstanding and very patient with us and friendly the whole time. They had to override the process and enter our account manually to verify the phones were paid for and the account was closed. Thank you "Q" and Shawn for being great - after many frustrating times talking to the 800 number for customer service and visiting a T-Mobil store that was not connected to the T-Mobile system access.

I have only been with T-Mobile for a…T-Mobile is terrible

I have only been with T-Mobile for a month and a half because of a promo deal of metropcs selling off their customers to T-Mobile. Their 5g data is BY FAR the worst I've ever had. I have had 2g phones with better data service. My happiest day I will have with T-Mobile is when I cancel my plan. That day can not come fast enough.

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service. I was with US Cellular and T-Mobile bought them out. I had five phones on my US Cellular plan that were free promotional phones. Now since I was switched to T-Mobile, I am left owing US Cellular $700 for one of the phones. I had absolutely nothing to do with T-Mobile buying out US Cellular. I should not have to pay anything.

Don't trust T-Mobile

I switched to T-Mobile in January 2027 because of the promotion for the Pixel 9 Pro. While I was signing up over the phone, the customer service representative told me I would also receive a free pair of earbuds. When I received my first bill, I was charged for both the phone and the earbuds. I called T-Mobile and explained the issue. After spending about an hour on the phone trying to get the promotion honored, I was finally assured that it would be. Over the next several months, I continued to be overbilled. Eventually, I began receiving promotional credits for the phone. I really wish I had documented every phone call, but I never imagined this would drag on for seven months. I've called T-Mobile every month, spending 45 minutes to an hour on each call, trying to get the promised credit for the earbuds. At one point, I did receive a credit, but then I was overcharged again for several more months. Last month, I finally received another credit for the overbilling and was assured the issue had been permanently resolved. Unfortunately, I was overcharged again this month. I contacted customer service once more, and after another hour on the phone, I was told there had never been a promotion for the earbuds. What kind of business practice is that? If I had been told during my very first phone call that there wasn’t a promo for the earbuds, I would have returned them immediately. Instead, I've spent seven months calling every month, trying to correct an issue that should have been resolved from the beginning. The representative I spoke with this month said I might receive a credit for the latest overcharge. He also said that most of the other CSRs I spoke to actually did nothing to resolve the situation and two of the reps issued the credits I received but didn’t correct my account. I've also asked to speak with a manager on several occasions, but, unsurprisingly, one has never been available. After this latest experience, I searched online to see whether others had encountered similar issues. I found countless complaints about overbilling and unexpected charges with T-Mobile. Based on my experience, I truly wish I had never switched to this company.

A T-Mobile customer a long time

I have been a T-Mobile customer on and off since the 1990's when it was called Voicesteam Wireless. Back in those days it was reliable service. About 3 years ago internet was slow on my phone and home internet. As of 3 months ago internet became unstable and I can't look at job listings and I can't do video conferencing interviews either. During this time I called tech support often. I was told the network is congested which means they oversold the network and they care more about profit than customer satisfaction. I was given that excuse several times. Three weeks ago the technician told me the cell towers are being updated by engineering and they didn't have a time frame when the work will be completed. I immediately answered back that they are working on the cell towers for 3 months and it isn't completed yet. Bull! I even emailed the CEO twice and it took a few weeks and someone from the executive response team, a customer service rep called and emailed me twice and told me that the update doesn't have a date for completion yet. I'm at the end of my billing cycle and I'm going to try Patriot Mobile. Pricing is about the same and you can switch to AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile for data. If one service goes down I can try another one.

Number 1 Worst Mobile Phone Company In America

There are the worst and singlehandly the most evil tech and moblie phone company for customers being treated like walking money with their ads being pro-tech talk and showing tech for all. I miss Spirnt, atleast there used to be different mobile companies, not the same ones that i can keep seeing the same tech compaines like Lenvovo, T-mobile and Verzion, even the FIFA Lenevovo ads that I despised that the game is love and peace, The USA is blowing up Iran. Hyprociosy of them all

I was promised a free phone

I was promised a free phone. They said the new iPhone is on us. I signed up for the service. I was given a new iPhone and told to send my old phone in. I sent my old phone in and have a tracking number to show I sent it in. After the first month, they began billing me for the new phone. When I called Customer Service, they said I never sent the old phone in. I gave him the tracking number showing that I did send the old phone in and they agreed Customer Service don’t be refunded the money and I was refunded the money for two billing cycles and then they put the charges back on my bill again. I called Customer Service again. They agreed that it has been a mistake and won’t be refunded the money after two Billing cycles after two billing cycles, it was not refunded. I called two more times and went through the same process two more times I’ve spent. Hundred hours on the phone with T-Mobile customer service. And I’ve always talked to someone who was real nice and helpful and told me that the problem had been fixed only to find out later that somebody in the Supervisor position had reversed all that and going back to charging me for the free phone again, T-Mobile has been a nightmare. I would not trust them ever with any promise of anything Free or any promises of good service. This company is a scam. It is organized corporate fraud. It is intentionally and fraudulently billing the customer.
