What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently reported frustrating encounters with unhelpful customer support, lengthy waiting times on the phone, and unexpected price increases on their monthly bills. Many individuals also struggled with unreliable network coverage, frequent dropped calls, and unexpected connection issues following recent company transitions. However, some reviewers were happy with the knowledgeable and polite store staff who consistently provided patient and attentive assistance. These customers truly appreciated the dedicated professional support they received during their direct visits to local service centers. People noted that dealing with representatives in person was often much better than handling issues over the phone.

Superior customer service with Alex J

I encountered superior customer service with Alex J at your South Tampa location. She is a friendly, professional, knowledgeable problem solver who represents TMobile in the best possible way...customer service at its finest.

I called the T mobile office and…Frustrated, angry and robbed!

I called the T mobile office and cancelled my account 2 months ago, May of 2026. I was assured by the attendant that it was cancelled. Two months later I'm still getting a bill. It turns out that she didn't do what she said she would do so I'm still being billed! The literally billed me for two months and wouldn't give the money back so I had to pay for the ineptitude of one of there employees. I think that stinks and I will tell everyone I know about how they treat their long time customers!

Huge increase in my bill when traveling internationally. And it was terrible service in Canada. I used to recommend T-Mobile to all my friends, but now, they've downgraded their service, and huge increase in charges.

It’s always god awful horribly corrupt business w T Mobile. Btw, the AI answering machine really makes things worse. You already subject us to foreign customer service agents, now we have to burrow through AI to even get to the agents. Great. Just so yall know, when they make a correction to your bill, they’re encouraged to upsell you on more products.

NEVER go with T Mobile

I accepted a trade in offer, online, for a new phone. I was offered $1,000 for my Samsung S 20+. I checked boxes, ensuring the phone turned on and had no cracks on the screen. i then sent it in the box they provided. A few weeks later, they sent me a rejection notice, stating that the phone had a cracked screen and they would only give me $22! I rejected the offer by pushing a button on their website. I was told on the thank you page that I would receive the phone back by rerurn mail. I know I can sell it for at least $120 on Ebay. 40 days later, they have not returned the phone. After waiting for 30 minutes on hold on the phone, I was told that they will NOT return the phone and only credit my account with the $22. I am pretty much stuck with T Mobile, because we have 4 lines and a bunch of phones on contracts. But I would NEVER recommend this outfit to anyone!

T-Mobile Cell Phone Service Outages

Earlier this week my phone went into SOS mode for about an hour. Went into the T-Mobile store and they had no idea of the service outage. They went to check and was told it would be an hour or two. Today a friend called me on my home land line to say he was getting a busy signal when he dialed my cell phone number. I tried with my land line and received the same response. I waited online for over 20 minutes waiting to talk to someone in their customer service department and they insisted there wasn't an outage in the area. Nor is there an easy way to determine if there is an outage on their app to confirm the information I am receiving. This company is terrible for not notifying customers of outages. I still do not know why my phone line is not working correctly.

I recently opened a business account

I recently opened a business account, the first two months the bill was what I was told/agreed upon, the following months my bill started increasing noticeably. Every time I call 611, no operator can help me and always make arrangements for a callback that never takes place. They will never escalate the call to a supervisor they have keep me on the phone for about 2 hrs every time without a solution

T-Mobile duped me; Don't let their promotion fool you!

T-Mobile duped me. I transferred four Xfinity lines and home internet to T-Mobile because they promised me the monthly bill would be $125 + tax for all. But they sent me the first bill of $284. Besides, this first bill is for three weeks. Apparently, I will have to pay for one week that I didn't use. Upon complaining about this issue, my plan was downgraded, and I will still have to pay around $225+ tax.

"Beware of T-Mobile's phone payoff and porting promotions. Five months ago, I switched to T-Mobile under an explicit agreement that they would pay off my existing device balances with AT&T and port my numbers. I provided all balance info, but T-Mobile failed to coordinate the release with AT&T. As a result, my numbers were never ported and my phones were never unlocked. For 5 months, I’ve been paying AT&T to keep my active service while T-Mobile has continuously billed me $281.84/month for completely non-functional lines—totalling $1,409.20 in unearned charges. After endless dropped calls, hours on hold, and broken promises of call-backs, their only solution was for me to pay off the phones out-of-pocket for a 'possible' reimbursement or cancel and owe $1,000+ in device fees. A formal demand letter and FCC/FTC complaints have been filed."

If i could give a NEGATIVE 5 I would

If i could give a NEGATIVE 5 I would! I was a loyal US Cellular customer for 20 years. I never recieved notice that they were bought out by T Mobile! I NEVER had issues with US Cellular, always had service where others didnt. I woke up one day to my phone telling me it needed restarted. I restarted my phone and T MOBILE was on my screen! Since T Mobile has taken over, my service has sucked! I had to have them send me a new Sims card because they told me my US Cellular one would no longer work. The Sims card they sent wouldn't work, so we had to spend over an hour on my daughters phone with them being walked through the ESims setup. Now my phone won't work 1/2 the time, says I can only use 911. They want to send a code to my phone (i had to use my daughters phone to call) i told them "MY PHONE IS IN 911 MODE! I CANT MAKE OR RECEIVE CALLS OR TEXT!". They didnt seem to comprehend this! Then they said "we can send a text to the other number on your account!". I admit , when they said that I DID lose my crap a bit! " HE IS STUCK IN 911 MODE TOO U MORON! WHAT PART OF THAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!?!?". AFTER 2 HOURS, TWO....HOURS!, I was FINALLY able to use my phone!! Yet they want paid for substandard serive, offered no credit for not being able to use my phone multiple times a month! Im definitely not happy and they will be losing a customer!

T mobile is a scamming company

T mobile is a scamming company. They don't allow you access to the Internet but still charge you $90 per month for a service they never provided. Then they scammed me out of $50 phone payment for a service they never provided. Wether you have access to the service or not, they still charge every month. That's literally a criminal offense and how is T-Mobile still allowed to be a company in America anymore after robbing so many Americans ?

First Responders Beware!

My husband is a Hernando County firefighter and our family switched to T-Mobile in December at the Broad Street store in Brooksville. We were promised a first responder family plan with three lines, three free phones, no trade-in, and a monthly bill of about $140. That promise has never been honored. Instead, our bills have reached nearly $400. T-Mobile later told us the salesperson set up our account incorrectly—placing us on three separate first responder plans and charging us for phones we were told were free. For months, I returned to the original store, visited four T-Mobile locations, spent more than 12 hours with customer service, and spoke with five supervisors. Multiple representatives acknowledged the mistake and promised to restore the $140 monthly price. It still has not happened. One supervisor applied a Friends & Family code that reduced our bill to $140, but it lasted only one month. T-Mobile will not reconnect me with him or provide his name. So far, we have paid $899 more than agreed. This week, I was promised multiple callbacks that never came. When someone finally called, I was told T-Mobile would not honor the December promotion because it is no longer available and would offer only today’s promotion. We are not asking for today’s deal. We are asking T-Mobile to honor the agreement that convinced us to switch carriers in December. We should not be financially responsible for a salesperson’s mistake. After months of promises, T-Mobile told us there was nothing more they would do and that we could leave. We will. T-Mobile markets directly to first responders, yet our family has been overcharged, ignored, and left without a fair resolution. We are asking for a refund of approximately $899, a complete written accounting, and the pricing we originally accepted. We have bills, payment records, case information, and a timeline of our attempts to resolve this. No family should have to absorb nearly $900 in charges caused by a company’s mistake.

Absolute Scam Company — bait and switch on military members!

I used to respect T-Mobile, but they have completely lost their way. They are actively finding technicalities and loopholes to "retire" legacy accounts, including military and veteran plans, strictly so they can force customers into higher price brackets. My monthly bill jumped significantly, and what did I get for the extra money? Absolutely nothing. Zero added value, no new perks, no upgrades, just the exact same service for a higher price. It is a total bait-and-switch scheme. The new leadership is completely tanking what used to be a decent company. They went from being the "Un-carrier" that cared about its customers to just another greedy corporate cash grab. Trashing the perks promised to military families is a low move. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

T-Mobile is the worst if you have any issue what so ever

T-Mobile is the worst if you have any sort of issue with your phone or service. Nothing ever gets resolved. I had to request their legal team in order to get anything done. I had called 7 times to get a problem resolved and spent so many hours on the phone with CS. Their customer service is is based in a foreign country. I am ok with that if the agents spoke slower and knew how to speak the english language proficiently in a way that was understandable. I have a lot of patience but its really tough and I am looking to move service because the inability to resolve issues.
