What reviewers say

AI generated

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently reported frustrating encounters with unhelpful customer support, lengthy waiting times on the phone, and unexpected price increases on their monthly bills. Many individuals also struggled with unreliable network coverage, frequent dropped calls, and unexpected connection issues following recent company transitions. However, some reviewers were happy with the knowledgeable and polite store staff who consistently provided patient and attentive assistance. These customers truly appreciated the dedicated professional support they received during their direct visits to local service centers. People noted that dealing with representatives in person was often much better than handling issues over the phone.

I was a T-Mobile customer for 27 yrs

So I was a T-Mobile customer with 4 lines for 27 years. By my calculation, paid them well over $35K during that time. I called them to say that Verizon was offering some great deals to switch, what could they do for me. They offered me one free phone. I was a little baffled. I told the agent that they were essentially pushing me to a competitor. So I switched. Got a collection agency notice 31 days after I ported saying I had a final bill of $726 (included paying off 2 phones). I was a little baffled as to how it could have gone to collections so quickly. So I called them. The agent I talked to was courteous but unhelpful claiming the account wasn't sent to collections. I said 'Well how can I have a letter from AllianceOne if it wasn't sent over. I'm guessing they don't have access to your systems so it had to come from somewhere.' I asked the agent to look at our payment history over the 27 years. No late payments ever. She put me on hold 10 times. Finally she comes back and says for my trouble, they'll remove the $10 late fee for the next to last bill. I said thank you, considering T-Mobile cut me off from the portal so I couldn't pay the bill anyway! I realize I'm just a number to them, but the reality is that they would give a new customer free phones and who knows what else. All they had to do was offer us 3 free phones and we would have stayed. Now they will never see us as a customer again.

No warning about phone service…

No warning about phone service shutdown. Got mid 80's parents and a kid road tripping and phone service just shut off. Hour on hold and all I got was a sorry we will restore it soon. Going back to Verizon, costs more but this never would've happened.

Today

Today, I spent eight hours without internet, and my phone showed SOS. I turned it off and on, but nothing worked. I also remembered that the other day, my phone went four hours straight with only SOS, and toggling the cellular didn't help then either. I'm really not happy with T-Mobile anymore. Today, I missed an important task because of this.

T-mobile home internet was down

T-mobile home internet was down. I tried to call customer service and was put on hold. I was on hold for over an hour and no one answered. I think that they should at least answer the calls.

Go elsewhere

I wish there was a zero or I could do negative stars t-mobile does not even deserve 1 star. Now the issue, I never opt out of being billed by mail and now I get notices every month my phones will be shut off and then I need to pay my bill I ways I don’t want to. They want everyone on auto pay so they can increase, increase, increase. I want mybill in the mail full stop. Now I need to spend at least an hour on the phone and all that will happen is my bill will get paid. I feel bad for the employee who deals with me because this is rotten to the core just like t-mobile. To trust pilot please develop a negative star system t-mobiles 1.4 star rating is way too high trust me

I just brought a brand new Samsung…

I just brought a brand new Samsung Galaxy. S26 from T-Mobile. I had some issues with it, so they said they were gonna send me out a new phone I get to T-Mobile today to pick up my phone. These people sent me a refurbished phone and not a brand new phone, and I'm paying $899 for this phone. And then on top of that, they wanted me to pay them $20. These people were crazy. I am getting away from T-Mobile. I've had enough of this already.

Shit Company

I was going to write a review about how terrible this company is, for lying, giving their customer the run around and giving one bull shit excuse after another. But it seem like they don't give a shit! 80%+ of the reviews are 1 star.

We were having trouble charging my husband’s phone and Eric (Biddeford store) cleaned the port where the charger goes. The phone now charges with no problem. Thanks, Eric

I have been a customer of T Mobile for…about 6 yrs

I have been a customer of T Mobile for years. I really don’t look at my online bill. Well, I happen to look at it and someone added a phone on my account. I called in and spoke with an agent and she assured me that the line would be canceled. Wee 2 weeks later the line is still on my account. I am furious about this matter. Looking for another phone service. Customer service is horrible and liars. It’s a shame

Trying to switch to T-Mobil

Trying to switch to T-Mobil as we need internet. What a nightmare. Transferred 4 times and told to try again tomorrow. On the phone for almost 2 hours 😵‍💫

Their Price Guarantees are a farce

Their Price Guarantees are a farce. They suck you in with a "locked-in" price and then discontinue that plan and "upgrade" your service at a higher price.

T-Mobiles customer support always…

T-Mobiles customer support always proves a third-world experience. They time spent on hold averages 30+ minutes, each stage your required to enter the same information and no one seems competent enough to assist. Whatever hell-hole T-Mobile calls get routed into is disastrous‼️

STAY AWAY!!!! Worst company ever!!

Absolute worst phone company I have ever been to! I went to them to get a new phone and opened a new account. Everything and anything with the account was all wrong. They give you things that you don't need. they gave me a business account that I didn't want and charged me $20 for a tablet which would've been a second line with the phone number that I didn't need. Then when I went into a T-Mobile and asked them why that number was there that that is not my number they shrugged their shoulders and said that's just how it is. I was never able to get on T life to set up an account because if you have a business account, you can't be on T life, nobody told me that and nobody told me that I had a business account. Every time I thought I would be done with T-Mobile. I would need to talk to them again and you have to have an account pin. I never had an account pin because I was never able to set anything up so I had to walk into a T-Mobile show them my drivers license and then the guy behind the counter made my pin and handed me a little piece of a Post-it note with it on so I put it in my purse. Well next time I needed to talk to them once again I didn't have the number because I lost it. My fault, but I went in again with my drivers license to try to take care of something again. They changed my pin handed me another Post-it note. When I tried to get Internet with the phone for the Internet phone package, they gave me a bigger package, which was more money than I needed. I told them I did not need that. I did not need an extender. I am not in a big house I have a little efficiency apartment. They said oh no it comes with it and gave it to me even though I didn't want it and then when I went in and talked to another person, they said that they do have smaller packages and that I did not need to have two big boxes which one was an extender. And it was more money. So the Internet wasn't good. The service wasn't good on the phone. I decided to take everything back and go with another company. I am still dealing with them two months later because I never got the final bill for the phone for the new company to be able to pay the phone off so I called them again today and my account pin that I always needed and had to have before is now not acceptable!!!!! NOW they wanna text my phone number that I no longer have because I canceled my account with them. So the guy says he'll send me over to the business department to see what they can do, he did not! He put me right back to the very beginning where I was kicked back to the very end of the line to wait for an hour on hold, which I did not do. So now I'll call in another day when I have time and try to get my final bill again or I'm gonna have to walk into a t-Mobile store again since they can't text a phone number that I no longer have and my pin that was so so necessary can't even be used now. The whole store that whole phone company is 100% ridiculous. I'd really don't know how they have any business. I woll never, ever recommend anybody there. I will never ever have anything to do with them ever again in my life and I will always tell somebody don't do it because you're in for a bunch of crap if you do.

If I could give them a negative review…

If I could give them a negative review I would. They got us to sign by telling us we were eligible for 3 new phones. They lied. I have had countless issues w service. Have been promoted to set up a “gateway,” um….to hell? This has been like an abusive relationship. Everyone should be reporting them to the better business bureau. I have been on hold for over an hour just to get service. They disabled their web portal. Won’t pickup phones. And I would rather stab myself in the eye repeatedly than continue to work w them.
