Please DO NOT spend your money/ time with this company. I purchased 2 dresses online and one was out of stock. The other came in but was 2 tight. Sizing was way off. I needed a different size for an event. No one answers your texts/ calls/ emails. And if they do, it's just a run around. It's been longer than a month and my issue still isn't resolved. They haven't given me my refund for the out of stock item. Plus I haven't gotten an exchange/ credit for the smaller item. They advised me to go through the portal to start the exchange process, but the portal isn't working. I mean, how do deal with a company like this. Customer service is almost non existant.I want to support a Muslim owned company but they are making it very hard.

A dress that I had ordered was out of stock. Inty provided such exceptional customer service with a personal touch. She contacted me by both phone call and text. She worked to find a dress to replace the out of stock item in a color that I liked and added a coordinating hijab. There was a $5 cost difference between the dresses, but she did not charge me for it. Inty went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the alternate dress. A wonderful experience.

As a new comer I began to search for the proper modest, classy attire. That’s when I discovered “Urban Modest”. Upon entering the store I was greeted by the customer client public relations specialist, Eman. Eman did an amazing job in her presentation to me and even helped me to properly put on my hijab. Thank you for your kindness and generosity toward me. See you again in the near future 🕊
Unhappy Customer
I ordered an XL clearance black kimono abaya and got the XXL gray one which is too big! I tried talking to customer service and they say d it was a final sale. I’m not happy and I’ve bought many dresses and hijabs. I had a couple issues but they were resolved. I’m going to try Veiled or AAB.

the urban modesty on fifth ave in bayridge is my favorite one. the girl that works jannah here is so nice and she offers to grab different sizes and help you find the dress or hijab you are looking for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have been a customer since they first…
I have been a customer since they first opened…so this review is from someone loyal who bought many items in the past. I have seen the quality go down and the customer service is not becoming…shady and dishonest and fooling the customer and wasting their time. I ordered items in May and never received them and have had so much back and forth- even UPS confirmed that the store gave them an empty box and as such UPS contacted them and refused to deliver it. They have held my money hostage for three months trying to say until UPS reimburses them they can’t reimburse me…and wouldn’t send out the item claiming they don’t have any more in stock. I had to file a credit card dispute after months and then magically they are sending me the item supposedly now. Will see if it arrives or if it’s just another shady stall tactic. One things for sure…they lost one of their biggest customers and i am warning everyone that sadly they DO NOT offer good customer service…the words on their website is a scam. They will take your money and run and good luck getting your item. Never again. There are way better brands with way better quality out there.
