same experience as the rest of the 1-star reviews: edited a document, payed 1€ knowingly, then a few days later 29,99€ were booked off of my bank account seemingly through a subscription I never agreed to, and never got a mail about either. I paid for a one document transfer from pdf to word. Was cost of £1. A week later they withdrew £29.99 from my paypal account. I never signed up for a monthly payment. Very bad service. I went through the entire process of signing a document, which took about 10 minutes, only to discover at the very end that I had to pay to download the signed document. The cost was never made clear beforehand, so I wasted my time for nothing. If your service requires payment, you should be transparent about it from the beginning instead of revealing it only after users have completed the whole process. Update on 27/06/2026 After a few weeks and approximately 20 emails, I have successfully received a full refund. While the initial process presented some challenges, I ultimately had four members of the Zendocs team reach out to me regarding the charges. Therefore, I must commend their excellent customer service. 16/06/2026 I used a website to merge one file for my daughter's school application. I paid 50p and didn't realize I'd be charged a subscription. Nowhere on the form did it clearly state that by using the service, I was actually signing up for a subscription. I canceled after the first charge. Now, 9 months later, the company is still charging me £29.99 a month. The total charge for 9 months is £268.91. When I emailed for a refund, David said the refund had been accepted and would be processed. When I asked about the total to be refunded, David came back and said he reviewed my case and I'm not eligible for any refund. I feel like I've been robbed. Such a bad experience. Could you please explain why the charge continued and why I'm not eligible for a refund? I paid 50p for a one-time use, and you've charged me another £269.91 for another 9 months?
