Unauthorized Credit Card Charge by Zing

I signed up for a 3-month subscription for Zing Coach. In reviewing my credit card statement, I was charged an additional $28.79 for Zing Nutrition. I did not approve or authorize this charge. I contacted Zing and was told no refund for the $28.79 would be issued. I filed a fraud claim with my bank as a result. Be very aware of this issue. UPDATE: Zing has finally agreed to refund the Nutrition charge of $28.79 after telling them I filed the fraud claim and writing this review. Still giving one star as their customer service is terrible.

Hi Jane, Thanks for your feedback, and we’re sorry for any frustration caused during your experience. We’d like to clarify that all add-ons, such as Zing Nutrition, require explicit confirmation from the user before purchase. There’s a separate paywall presented in the app where users must agree to the charge in order to proceed. We do not apply any hidden fees, and transparency in billing is something we take seriously. According to our refund policy, add-on purchases are generally non-refundable. However, we’re glad we were ultimately able to resolve this case and process a refund for you as a gesture of goodwill. We’re continuously working to improve our service and appreciate your feedback. The Zing Coach Team
