I participated in the auction 62894 and placed winning bids on lots #1067 and #1068 on 4/09/2023. I was winning before the auction closed and went to bed. The next as the end of auction time approached I checked on my bids and discovered that both items had been removed from my bid list and my bid history. I conducted searches to see if I had lost the auction, or maybe outbid before the close, or perhaps it was removed for some other reason. I found no record of either item. Even as I searched using the lot number.
Then when I went to the auction warehouse to pick-up other items I had won, I saw lot 1067 and 1068 sitting on a shelf right in front of me. I spoke with the manager and she told me she would investigate and call me. Her only explanation was that sometimes there is a glitch. She was awesome in every other way and I have no complaints with her. Except that so far no call after 1-week. I plan to return on Monday and ask if she found out anything.
Items are generally represented accurately. Discrepancies are handled appropriately. The hours for pickup are not convenient. It would be helpful if there was an option to schedule a pickup ahead of time to minimize the wait for items to be pulled (like Nellis Auction).
depending on which partner company you are bidding with (the company who owns the goods), the service provided at the destination is variable; some places are slow/disorganized while others are great.
Generally a great place for bargains, there are a lot of opportunities to improve search/sort/description and bidding features on the website. One thing to know is depending on which partner company you are bidding with (the company who owns the goods), the service provided at the destination is variable; some places are slow/disorganized while others are great.
Took a chance and drove all the way there from 2.5 hours away. Like their policy states check every item before leaving the building! As it turned out almost every item was either broken or missing parts, including the items they were selling outright on the floor! Those of which we didn't bother to check, as those were not auction items. We will never purchase from this company again!
Items at this auction site are literally hit and miss! If you have an option to check out a listing prior to Bidding is highly recommended! And always inspect items prior to leaving a facility. Half the time the items you get are a good deal!
I've been bidding for about 6 months now, and I love it. I made some truly amazing deals, and some quite so amazing. It's really k I nda fun, and they never run of items to bid on something for everyone
Well good morning, love your auction!!! Purchased a bell tent asis, figured missing a couple parts or tear in tent. Nope everything was missing poles stakes and rope. Only thing in box was tent it self. Could have state missing everything except tent. Useless with out any hardware!!!
Overall it’s been great. The only problem was with the first purchase from Mountain View. Closed on March 15. Went to pick up door on the 17th but the size listed was not correct. The man asked if I wanted to get a rug instead (one that didn’t have a lot #). Nothing I was interested in. He promised I would be refunded in a couple of days. It’s been weeks and still no refund. Not a good first impression at all. Bad business practices. I’ve had 3 purchases since then and they have all the been wonderful to work with.
The only problems I encounter are when picking up items there is such a long wait to get items. There are days when there are only a few people there to pick up yet it takes just as long to get items when it a very busy day
My cart is completely broken. If the box had been opened up you would have seen it was a non usual piece. I unfortunately on my end bought two large items that day and only had the chance to get one out of my car. When I emailed the next day past the 24 hour mark they said absolutely no return. I understand rules but when you are across the valley and a piece is completely not usable I wish there would be some exceptions to the rule. Makes me second guess every purchase especially when it's an hour from my home.
I was given a different item than what was described in title.
I won an item and it wasn't what was described, I was mislead. It also was missing many pieces that so what I did receive is useless and can't be assembled. They won't help me either because I didn't catch it before I left. I don't know how I was supposed to know what was missing without trying to assemble it and it was way too big to assemble in store. It also had no manual so I couldn't check what was supposed to be there and what wasn't
