I was sold when I saw Jim Rickards' endorsement.
Jim needs to update his $2000/oz gold article ;)
Travis Rager deserves a raise.

I am relocating and called GBI Direct on May 20th to find out the cost of shipping eight (8) American Silver Eagle Monster Boxes to their NY vault. Several years earlier, I had purchased these metals from GBI Direct, and had had them delivered to my home. All the Monster boxes still had the original US Mint seal intact, and additionally, 7 of the 8 were still in their original cardboard shipping box.
I was told GBI does NOT offer a service to ship previously delivered precious metals back to them for storage.
Within an hour of that telephone conversation, I received a call back from the same GBI customer service gentleman who informed me that while everything he told me was true, he had spoken to one of his supervisors, and that GBI would probably make an exception for me. I was to expect a telephone call the next morning.
The following morning I received a call from a different customer representative, who identified himself as working in GBI's Wealth Client Services. He queried me about my metals, and afterward concluded by telling me I had a "90%" chance of GBI accepting my metals. He told me he would call me the following morning.
The next morning he called to confirm GBI's acceptance. He requested photos of the Monster Boxes and of my government - issued ID. After acceptance of the photos, he then coordinated a drop off appointment at a local Brinks facility for me on May 29th. There was no shipping or handling fee from Brinks.
On June 3rd, he notified me that my eight (8) Monster Boxes had been positioned in to my account at GBI.
Apparently, GBI Direct set up a new department a couple of years ago called Wealth Client Services, specifically to handle clients with larger accounts and transactions. I have been purchasing and storing precious metals for over 11 years with three (3) different companies and this level of service was completely beyond my expectation.
I was terribly stressed regarding the transition of my non IRA account over Memorial day weekend. I contacted GBI on Monday regarding my IRA account. Samantha personally walked me through what I needed and expedited the funds I was requesting. I have decided to remain with GBI instead of transferring to a different Gold and silver IRA account,
I have always received quick response and everyone I have dealt with especially Jenelle was so helpful and pleasant. I won't hesitate to call on your company for any further help.

Hi Neal, sorry for the frustration. Every email includes an unsubscribe option except account transaction emails, like login location alerts, trade confirmations, and shipping notifications. Those are kept intentionally minimal and are there for your security and to keep you informed on order status, so they can't be turned off. If you're still seeing marketing or promotional emails after unsubscribing, let us know and we'll make sure that's corrected right away.
when I joined I made a mistake in the customer/password section. I sent an email or filled out a form asking for the account to be cancelled and all info deleted. Once that was done I would resign up. Got no response and account is still there. It took a lot of work to rectify the situation with other companies sign ins. Since then I have been forced to use other companies for the services was going to use from you. Don't know what the date was.

I would like GBI to explain how account valuation works. More specifically…….. every time I check account value, it is always lower than yesterday. Even if gold is up $100 today, my account is valued lower than yesterday. Why is this ?
Reply from GBI Direct (Formerly Hard Assets Alliance)2026-03-26
Hi Jack, happy to explain. You may be looking at the historic graph rather than the live pricing. The graph on your portfolio will show the valuation according to the close of the live market price yesterday. When you click into your holdings you can view the actual sell price according to the live market today.
My biggest complaint are your fees, they are quite extraordinary and make buying metals from you quite costly.

Hi Paul,
We understand that cost is a crucial part of your decision and we’re committed to full transparency, which means all fees are clearly outlined upfront so you always know exactly what to expect—no hidden costs. You have the flexibility to choose what works best for you: store your metals in our fully insured facility (covered up to full replacement value), or have them shipped directly to your door.
For deliveries, we simply pass through the exact cost from FedEx, with all shipments fully insured and signature required for security—we don’t add any markup. Withdrawals via check are free, with a $25 fee only if you choose an expedited wire transfer.
Metal pricing is based on the wholesale market and adjusts with supply and demand, and our GBI Direct platform allows you to trade 24/7.
We’re always here to help answer questions and ensure you feel confident in every part of your experience.

Trading cash for small amounts of silver and gold. So far I been consistent doing this. I received the information about it from Jim Rickards Strategic Intelligence. I did not have much in savings. I don’t have a broker and I don’t know how to obtain one. I still receive update info from Jim Rickards Strategic Intelligence Pro, but have not acted on anything.
