Papa has been useful for a reliable and flexible second income. It accommodates my existing schedule as well as promotes incentive for extra work.

It's been an interesting journey so far. You're paid as you go. The only drawback for me personally is the distance you have to commute for just 2hr shift. The app is very user-friendly. I never had any problem.

When they show up,they're fairly helpful. 1 of the 4 or 5 I have used was extremely helpful,and one was not really helpful at all. BUT THE BIGGEST ISSUE They cancel at the last minute . Based on.my experience it is roughly 25 percent of the visits are canceled in the 30 minutes prior to scheduled visit..This is a crappy business model. I understand no one is available,but a heads up maybe a few hours before would be nice .

Over all Excellent quality of work, and Amazing members make it that much more meaningful as I make friends who become family!! ❤️🙏

GREAT TO WORK WITH

My experience has always been great working with Papa PAL, that is why I came back and started working again with them. I love my Job and I love my experiences, I love being a Papa Pal. The company is very easy to work with. 🤗 The staff responds to you very quickly and is very knowledgeable. I think the service is great. It’s very easy to book visits as well.. They’re very concerned about your well-being with every visit. And I think that is a plus. Thank you, Papa Pal 😊

My account is "temporarily under review" I have no idea why I just woke up one morning and I was unable to login. I cannot get any response or information through chat support after all the issues that I've had with racist, papas, ignorant people thinking you're a maid and being yelled at and all that for the princely sum of $17 an hour with no bonuses or mileage I'm all set. I would like to delete in deactivate my entire account, but I'm unable to do that because I can't login and even though I am under review and can't take any visits I'm called in harassed daily from support asking me to help this papa and that papa, why would they call me if I can't take any visits they need to get it together.

Try Being a Papa Pal- You will definitely brighten someone's day

I have worked for Papa for 5 years and for the better part of that time, I have had a great experience. I have met and do meet a lot of wonderful people and have made some wonderful friends. There have been some hiccups, Some of the Papa agents have given a few of my Papa's, to whom I am their preferred, some issues when calling to book appts with me. They woul be told that I wasn't available, that I never answered the phone, and did they want another Papa. One Member called me on her cell phone, whike she was on her landing with Papa. She told me that the Papa agent had just called me, and I did not answer. I informed her that Papa had never called me. She was the only call I had recieved. I heard the Papa aent laugh. Anyway the appointment was able to be scheduled. And also I have been recieving calls from Papa and when I answer, there is no one speaking on the other end and then they just abruptly hang up. That is very unprofessional, questionable and very annoying. I am not sure what that is about, but I have an idea. But overall, Papa is good. I have had issues with getting paid at times. There are times when I haven't been. I got paid for the visit miles and the bonus, but not for the visit. I did submit a request, but for some reason it was overlooked. You definitely need to keep your own account of everything. Also, PA workers do not get paid commute miles which is also a factor in whether you want to do this work. Gas is extremely high, and Papa has not adjusted the visit mileage at all. This is can be a very rewarding job, I believe, but it can be a financial challenge if you live in PA, because most jobs are in NJ, almost nonexistent in PA.

this is a SCAM do not fall for it!!!! I submitted my social,my driver's license,my car insurance EVERYTHING only for them to say they rejected me after I submitted all that information and did the quizzes and everything didnt even make it to the background section which of course is clean but that can't be why they rejected me anyway because they rejected me before they even ran it. what a joke!!! they just want your personal info who knows what they are going to do with it!!!! I am 100% sure all these positive reviews are fake and paid for!

I have members who their family trusts me with. April 2nd I had Margaret who turned 97!!! Took her to get her hair done; shopping and visiting at her home. Bought her a birthday card and a small Bundt cake which she loved. I have about 35 people (members) who request me all the time.

It's not geared for clients. It's set up only in favor of unqualified "Pals"

Most unreliable for clients. Everything about this alleged service is set in favor of the "pals" who may pick up calls despite having no particular knowledge or experience with the requested tasks. They usually cancel at the very moment the appointment is due to start. I've been contacted by "pals" who seem to need their own senior aid. I've cancelled such appointments and the "pal" showed up anyway and got paid out of my allotment despite my having cancelled. I think my insurance is wasting money on this. After several months, it's rarely helped me.

This is a care "taker" service. Very little if any care "giving" I give up.…

Papa's does not concern themselves with the needs of clients. We must concern ourselves with the rules and accept no service if everything does not work out for them. Week after week I have received calls one hour before my pal was due here, telling me they couldn't schedule my pal. I booked the appointments weeks in advance. They keep banging my phone to verify appointments, But I estimate 5 out of twenty weeks someone I asked for actually showed up. Three of those weeks the girl did not do what I asked her to do the first weeks. She did not throw food I asked he to throw and threw food I did not want thrown out. Finally I asked her to just clean my bathroom and the baseboards. She did one of three baseboards, period. Nothing else. I gave her a temporary number to reach me on as my phone broke and needed to be replaced. She did not call me when she came the next week, she knocked and had Papa call me on my broken phone. Then said she threw the temporary number away, since it is temporary. I got no service. The next week I was not even scheduled and have no service again. I asked her to give Papa my temporary number which she has because I texted her with it. I have not heard a word from either. Basically, they claim companionship because they do not do any personal care and they are not really concerned with helping us. The girl was defensive when I asked her why she didn't call me and she chastised me saying it is my responsibility to make sure they can call. What? I did that! This is only the last pal issues. The service is about as rinky dink as it gets. Unprofessional would be a step up. When I did have a pal I liked, they kept sending people I didn't know. There has been so much nonsense and so little actual help, so many times, I give up. It is not ever going to be worth so much as the phone call to re-schedule appointments for help. It never helps. They are just sitting there collecting money, getting good reviews from those of us who can settle for companionship or a ride here and there. This company is riddled with unethical business practices. I was a caregiver for many years. I know the difference between a care "giver" and a care "taker". The pal I had last was plain lazy. It is just another scam. Forget service. They expect us to serve them.

I enjoy the work and the members. Unfortunately in Ca. We do t get mileage to travel to the members. I would take members further away from me, but the price of gas doesn’t allow it.
