LEMONADE PET INSURANCE ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CROOKS AND THIEVES , THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING YOUR MONEY FOR POLICY COVERAGE, BUT WHEN YOUR PET HAS A EMERGENCY THEY JERK YOU AROUND FOR 30 DAYS, THEN SEND YOU A B.S EMAIL THAT ITS NOT COVERED AND NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE OFFERED

Ebony was such a great help

Ebony was such a great help! She walked me through everything so smoothly and made the entire process easy and stress-free. The representative who handled my claim, I believe her name was Anne, was also wonderful. She helped me get everything done quickly and made sure I understood every step of the process. Overall, my claim experience was exceptional. I truly appreciate how helpful, professional, and efficient everyone was. I’m so grateful to have Lemonade as my insurance company!

My Great Pyrenees had an ugly case of…

My Great Pyrenees had an ugly case of prolonged Colitis as a result of eating an unidentified substance in the park. Lemonade processed my claim with multiple invoices in minutes and the money was in my bank account the following morning. Just make sure you keep all invoices, Vet notes, and test results to submit with the claim. Much better than Healthy Paws or Figo who deny claims always citing “pre-existing” conditions or making you jump through so many hoops it becomes impossible. Make sure to read Lemonades policy throughly.

I've had this insurance for a few…

I've had this insurance for a few months in anticipation of a vet appt I had set for my 2 cats to get a yearly check-up. With the coverage that I chose, $490 of my $526 bill was reimbursed and direct deposited into my account the same day as the vet appointment. The process of submitting a claim was super quick and easy! 5/5 stars and I really think it's worth having.

Basic claim denied as pre-existing.

This company denied a basic claim that fell under preventive coverage for bloodwork but was treated as an illness because of the symptoms my pet had. The insurance company considers this a pre-existing condition that comes with a waiting period therefore denying reimbursement from said claim. Moreover, they advised any future claims related to the same symptoms or issues in the future will also be met with a denial both by this company and any other companies. They are hiding under it all be pre-existing, despite that her symptoms began after I purchased the insurance. If insurance companies are not required to reimburse pet owners when their pets are ill regardless of the reason or symptoms, at anytime classifying as pre-existing, then no claims will be reimbursed and there is literally no point in having pet insurance. People will be better off to just pay out of pocket for vet visits and avoid the hassle of dealing with insurance companies like Lemonade who offer attractive insurance policies only to deny viable claims. Moreover they shouldn’t be speaking on behalf of other insurance companies when they don’t know their policies. Be forewarned on this company who offers the world but acts very shady when it comes to actual claim reimbursement for valid vet visits. Just stay away.
