“My frustration with Lemonade Pet Insurance was simply trying to file a claim. The app wouldn't load on my phone. I was on hold and then when someone answered the call was dropped. Trying to sign in was a problem as well. The process was unnecessarily difficult and frustrating, and I was especially unhappy to learn that Lemonade has a 180-day deadline for submitting claims. Pet owners are already dealing with veterinary care, bills, and sometimes a sick animal; making the claims process cumbersome and then imposing a strict filing window does not feel customer-friendly. I expected an insurance company to make submitting a legitimate claim straightforward. My experience was the opposite.”

First year of home insurance was ok price wise, however when I came to renewal they did nothing to help or keep the quote competitive, no support for being a loyal customer, communication was terrible. Found a stronger policy online at 15% cheaper, and I know they could have helped if they were willing to put a little effort in for me, but they didn’t, very poor indeed! Shop around would be my advice and use a business that values your custom, Lenonade don’t!
