Please. I think you should show us if there are africans on your team of teachers. No good reason for refusing an application after a hectic interview. That's evil!

A terrible experience with LingoAce. The sales representative sold a service they couldn't actually provide. I was promised Maths classes with only 2–3 students per group, but after I signed up, I was told that the available classes had 5–6 students instead. I was then informed that they didn't have any smaller groups available. When I tried to contact the sales representative for clarification, she completely disappeared and stopped responding to my messages. I eventually had to call the Singapore office directly to resolve the issue. To their credit, they refunded my money (after 4 weeks) because they were unable to deliver the service I had paid for. Based on my experience, I would never contact this company again. The whole process felt misleading and unprofessional.

The teachers were great and did a good job delivering the lessons, which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. Unfortunately, my experience with the consultants was very disappointing. During sign-up, they promised a certain number of lessons, but those were not honored without repeated follow-up. I constantly had to chase them, ask multiple times, and even escalate to online customer service just to get responses or partial resolutions. At one point, I had 14 lessons expire. The consultants repeatedly assured me not to worry and said they would extend them. However, once the lessons actually expired—and after I mentioned I wasn’t interested in continuing—they stopped responding entirely. I had to contact online support four times just to get any extension. In the end, only 8 lessons were restored, and the remaining 6 were never accounted for despite multiple emails and messages, which were ignored. Overall, the lack of follow-through, poor communication, and lack of integrity made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this service due to the hassle and stress involved.

It's next to impossible to contact anyone at Lingoace in case you need any administrative issues or need help with the course.

Unfortunately, my experience with LingoAce has been extremely concerning. The teacher verification and hiring process appears to be poorly supervised, allowing some individuals to work using fake or unverifiable documents and identities. Even more disturbing, some teachers record videos and take photos during classes and publish them on social media without parental consent. Using children’s images and classroom content for personal entertainment, audience engagement, or online visibility is a serious violation of privacy and child protection principles. We provided LingoAce with sufficient evidence and documentation regarding these issues and the behavior of certain teachers. However, the company showed little concern and continues cooperating with those individuals instead of taking proper action. This creates the impression that profit and revenue are being prioritized over children’s safety, privacy, and parents’ trust. Parents deserve transparency, proper identity verification, and a platform that genuinely protects children rather than ignoring serious complaints.
Dear Noor, Thank you for sharing your concerns. LingoAce takes student privacy, child safety, and educator compliance extremely seriously. We maintain policies and procedures designed to protect students and families across all learning environments on our platform. Any use of student images, recordings, or classroom content is subject to strict internal policies and requires appropriate parental consent and authorization procedures. We do not permit the unauthorized use of student content for personal or promotional purposes. We also maintain screening and verification procedures for educators and review reports related to compliance or professional conduct in accordance with our internal policies. We strongly reject the suggestion that LingoAce disregards student safety or parent trust. Protecting students and maintaining a secure learning environment remain core priorities for our team. Thanks again for your review. Best regards, LingoAce
Warning to parents using LingoAce. I reported serious teacher-verification concerns to LingoAce and provided documentary evidence showing that teachers presented on the platform as native English teachers appear to be using false identity and qualification claims. The evidence I submitted strongly indicates that: * Passports and identity claims presented are not authentic * CELTA teaching certificates appear fraudulent * Claimed university degrees, including Master’s qualifications, appear fabricated * Teachers advertised as “native English teachers” may not actually meet those claims Based on the evidence provided, these teachers should not be marketed to parents as qualified native English teachers. Despite receiving this report and supporting documents, LingoAce continues allowing these teachers to teach children on the platform without visible action. Parents trust educational platforms to properly verify the identity, qualifications, native-speaker background, and teaching credentials of the people teaching their children. If serious credential concerns are ignored, parents deserve to know. I strongly advise parents to carefully question how platforms verify: * Native-speaker status * Academic degrees * Teaching certifications * Identity documents Children’s education and parent trust should never be built on unverified claims.
Hi Shiva, Thank you for your review. LingoAce maintains a strict, multi-layered screening and background vetting process for educators on our platform, including verification procedures for identity and academic qualifications. We take any concerns related to teacher credentials or documentation extremely seriously and review such reports in accordance with our internal compliance and investigation procedures. As a matter of policy, LingoAce does not tolerate fraudulent documentation or misrepresentation. We continuously review and strengthen our quality assurance processes to uphold the standards families expect from our platform. We remain committed to maintaining high teaching standards and providing families with a trusted learning experience. Best regards, LingoAce
Very disappointed with LingoAce. I signed up and paid based on an offer that clearly stated 172 lessons, including 12 lessons x 55 minutes. That was the package presented to me, and that was what convinced me to pay. Now, after around 140 lessons, the agent suddenly says I will only receive 144 lessons, and the 12 x 55-minute lessons are not included because it was supposedly a “typo.” I honestly do not accept that explanation. If it was a mistake, why was it shown clearly in the offer in the first place? As a customer, I paid based on the information provided to me. Changing the terms afterward feels very misleading and unprofessional. I honestly feel scammed by this experience.
Hi Philip, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience. This is the poorest teaching platform form TEFL teachers. Poor on boarding, poor management communication, they even rufused to allow me to delete my account or cancel the lessons. Have a look at reviews on facebook too - NOT A GOOD PLATFORM AT ALL. Don't waste your time.
Dear Nina, We’re sorry to hear that your experience with LingoAce left you feeling disappointed. This is not the level of support we aim to provide for our teachers. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the experience for our teaching community. Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective, and we wish you all the best moving forward. Best regards, LingoAce
My experience teaching at LINGOACE has been deeply disappointing, as it became clear that the company does not truly value its teachers. I had built a solid base of regular students through hard work and consistency. Still, when I had to cancel a few classes due to a family health emergency—without ever violating their no-show policy—all of my students were suddenly taken away from me without any notice or explanation. To make matters worse, I came to understand that it is not the parents who book classes for their children, but LINGOACE administrators, meaning students are assigned to teachers entirely at the company’s discretion. With far more teachers recruited than available students, getting assigned students feels highly subjective and unreliable. The pay structure is also terrible—deductions are applied for everything: being one minute late, pursuing a no-show, and even if a student cancels at the last minute, you still face a penalty. In addition, the administrators are consistently rude in their email responses and frequently ignore teachers’ concerns unless the issue directly benefits them, leaving you feeling unheard and undervalued.
Dear Jorge, Thank you for sharing your perspective. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with LingoAce left you feeling disappointed. We understand that unexpected personal and family situations can be difficult, and we always aim to balance support for our teachers with maintaining continuity for students and families. Student scheduling and class arrangements are managed through an operational system designed to support both learning consistency and teacher availability. We also recognize the meaningful relationships teachers build with their students, and we deeply value the dedication and care that educators bring to the classroom every day. Feedback regarding communication, scheduling, and teacher support is taken seriously, and we continue working to improve the experience for our teaching community. We appreciate the time you spent teaching with us and wish you all the best moving forward. Best regards, LingoAce
My time instructing at LINGOACE left me thoroughly disappointed, as it quickly became evident that the organization has little genuine regard for its educators. Through dedication and steady effort, I had established a reliable group of recurring learners. However, when a medical situation in my family forced me to reschedule a handful of sessions—without ever breaking their policy on unexcused absences—they abruptly reassigned every one of my pupils elsewhere, offering neither warning nor reasoning. On top of that, I eventually realized that parents aren't actually the ones selecting and reserving lessons for their children; rather, LINGOACE staff make those decisions, meaning learners are distributed to instructors based purely on what the company decides. Because they keep hiring far more instructors than there are students to go around, receiving any learners feels completely arbitrary and unstable. The compensation model is equally poor—they deduct pay for nearly everything: showing up even sixty seconds past the start time, marking a student as absent without official notice, and even when a child cancels at the very last moment, you still get penalized. Furthermore, the administrative staff frequently come across as dismissive and unpleasant in their written replies, and they tend to overlook instructor questions unless answering somehow serves their own interests. They never once considered the lasting bond between a teacher and a student—or the connection to the student's family—when they removed me from that school over such flimsy justifications. It's as if they have no interest in real people teaching; they'd prefer lifeless machines. But the reality is that genuine educators develop affectionate, compassionate, human relationships with their learners—the very thing no robot could ever replicate.

Do NOT try their trial lesson! I tried it only once years ago, and I have been receiving repeated marketing and harassment calls for the past 5 years. Terrible experience. Extremely aggressive sales practices.
Dear Anne, We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. This is not the experience we want anyone to have. We’ve reviewed and processed your case internally, and your contact information has been removed from our outreach list. You should not receive further marketing calls from us moving forward. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and again, we’re truly sorry for the experience. Best regards, LingoAce
