Auctioneer deliberately grossly overcharged on shipping and lied about it. This was obvious to LA, who took over a month to achieve no resolution despite numerous communications and promises. Among the worst customer service organizations I've ever encountered, and there's stiff competition for that status.

Consignor Warning — Unprofessional Conduct & Zero Accountability I consigned an item with Williamson Auction Gallery and experienced a serious listing error that resulted in a significant financial loss on my end. When I raised the issue, I was met with dismissiveness and no acknowledgment of fault from staff. After a prolonged dispute, my item was simply returned to me — no apology, no explanation, no attempt to make things right. It was handled as if nothing had happened. This is not how a professional consignment business should operate. Consignors trust auction houses with their property and expect basic accountability when errors occur. If you are considering consigning items here, be aware that if something goes wrong, you may be on your own. I would not recommend this auction house to fellow Sellers Sergei Zeleny , Miami

I was emailed that I could cancel the shipping and set up my own shipping since it would be $64 to ship 1 graded trading card. The email stated they would wait until my decision. That was a lie. They shipped it anyway. I still don't have the card. Overcharging for shipping and not giving a detailed list of what you paid for seems shady.

You might want to do some research on this site. There are some shady "auctioneer sites" associated with LiveAuctioneers. Having learned the hard way, there are many selling cheap copies of vintage photos, poorly backed and overpriced. Not saying they're all bad, but there's enough to believe LA doesn't do anything to stop them. Just Google LiveAuctioneers and see what the AI feature brings up. Some houses seem to be legit, others appear to be part of some sort of scam selling cheap knockoffs of famous art poorly printed and mounted, and overpriced.

The site offers a large selection, but very high fees and shipping costs. When I had a seller refuse to acknowledge a $3800 payment, Live Auctioneers declined to intervene. They are NO help if you are being scammed. Additionally, most jade pieces that I bought through LiveAuctioneers have turned out to be fake and/or treated.
