Purchased products from this company…

Purchased products from this company over two years ago from one of their sales reps (They made my account on my behalf). Informed the rep two years ago I would no longer be buying from them as I didnt like the products. Fast forward over two years later THEY CHARGED MY CARD out of the blue and sent me products that I didn’t want or approve of. I had honestly forgotten about them at this point. I called to cancel the order and I was told they could. Fast forward and they still deliver the products and haven’t refunded. I called Monat and now not only do I have to return products I didn’t want or approve of, but the cost for return will come out of my own pocket, not Monats. Some shady practices…

I didn’t work for me

I used Monat exclusively for over 2 years. I never got the results I was searching for. My hair always felt dry and brittle, but my scalp would get oily much faster than it had in the past. Within 2 days! I used their oil treatment before each wash and still after washing I’d have flakes of dry skin coming off my scalp, even after 3 washes. I tried tons of their shampoos and never found one that suited what I was desiring from my hair. I swapped from monat to Redken all soft shampoo and conditioner and noticed the difference in my hair with one wash. Softer, shinier, less oily AND it felt more moisturized. The only reason I’m leaving 2 stars and not one is because I’ve seen it work for other people and I still use their oil treatment as well as heat protection spray. I love their mascara and eyebrow gel, but I will not be using their shampoos or conditioners again.

The pore refining is not worth the…

The pore refining is not worth the money. They probably won’t post this but it has caused me a lot of and pain on my face. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. The foaming cleanser does not remove makeup. A waste of money. not foam, nor does it clean your face like a cleanser should. You have to remove your makeup first before you can use this cleanser as it does not. And when I think of foaming, I think of an actual foaming cleanser, this does not foam. The 30 second miracle gel is a joke. It does not tighten wrinkles or get rid of bags under your eyes or whatever it claims it does not do any of those things what it does is cause your makeup to clump when you put it on after you use the 30 second miracle gel. Again, another waste of money. So disappointed in this company and what they claim their products do. Still hopeful for the hair care side of it. UPDATE: I have been using the 30 second miracle gel for three weeks now and I am still not impressed. I stopped using the pore refining cream because it was causing me dryness and breakouts. As for the 30 second gel, I "pat" it on like the instructions say and it burns the area around my eyes, so I will stop using it. Makes my skin feel like chemicals are on it and does not seem safe for the eye area. Tried using it on my wrinkles between the eyebrows and it does nothing in that area. No blurring or softening of the lines and wrinkles. These are very expensive products and since they are not doing what they claim to do I will stop using. Not everything works for everyone. As for the foaming cleanser, tried it a few more times and same results. Does not "foam" like it claims and does not remove my makeup. I use wipes to take the makeup off instead. Then use the cleanser. Will continue to use until gone, but wont be buying it again. I was hoping for one cleanser that would do it all in one step.

Terrible customer service and return policies

I would say that the products are good but the customer service is awful:( I bought hair products and makeup but since I couldn’t try before buying, I ordered additional colors to see which shades were best for me. Then, I jumped through all their hoops to return products that didn’t work, getting a return authorization code and paying for shipping. I should have received a refund of at least $53 but the refund was for $8.76! Can you believe that!?! I also had to google their customer service number because nowhere on their site do they put a link for contacting them. At this point, I don’t care how good their products are if this is how they treat their customers. I also don’t care for companies that make you have reoccurring shipments. I just want to buy what I need when I need it. I will be canceling my account!

The most incredible products

The most incredible products! I suffered so bad with postpartum hair loss and was sick and tired of trawling the shelves for shampoos and conditioners that just didn’t work. Then fast forward to Monat and my hair is thicker, fuller and healthier than it’s ever been. The only regret I have is not knowing about Monat sooner!

Never ever has my hair been this good

Never ever has my hair been this good! I went through a detox for 4 months first but I’m so so happy I stuck with it! My hair is heavily coloured and used to be like straw! Now it’s the best condition it’s ever been! Can’t recommend it more!!

Monat is scam artists

Monat is scam artists. They have you create an account with them then authorize orders, charge you, then tell you you can’t be refunded. I’ve been waiting on a refund for almost a year, was promised one since I didn’t place and approve an order, then never got the products, was told to wait and I would be refunded, I waited and now they tell me because I can’t return the items I never got I can’t be refunded.
