I had an issue with the battery in my ring when it was about 10 months old. I contacted Oura through their chat service and within an hour they were able to confirm the issue and authorise a replacement ring to be sent immediately. Excellent service with no arguments or delay: just good customer service.
Oura just broke, emailed for a replacement. Waited two weeks. nothing. Then contacted them and they said they had run out of the one I wanted (but not bothered to email me to tell me that) now I will wait another 1-2 weeks to get another one.
Terrible customer service
I ordered a ring costing over €500. The order was accepted, my Gran Canaria delivery address was accepted, and my credit card was charged immediately.
Then… complete silence for three weeks. No updates, no phone number, no working customer service email, and no way to contact them through their platform.
After three weeks, I was finally told they cannot deliver to the Canary Islands.
Why accept the order and take over €500 if you cannot deliver there? This should have been made clear before taking my money.
Extremely disappointing and unacceptable customer service. I would not recommend this company.
In general I absolutely love the Oura ring and the associated app. I love wearing the ring and am looking forward to the latest Gen 5 and have that on order. I will say the downside is the battery as I have had 2 rings over the past 5 years, with this being my 3rd. The second ring was covered under the warranty and they worked with me on the third Gen 5. Customer service and troubleshooting is TOP NOTCH!
Was having problems with my ring charging and not updating in the morning without placing the ring in the charger. Problem was quickly discovered and a replacement ring was ordered. Great customer service!
I had an Oura Ring 4 and recently upgraded to the Oura Ring 5. Unfortunately, after only a month and a half of use, the ring stopped working completely. It would no longer connect via Bluetooth, and even after rebooting and performing a factory reset, the app simply could not detect it.
The real disappointment, however, came when I contacted Oura’s support team. After numerous troubleshooting attempts, they eventually agreed to replace the ring. That was over a week ago, and I still have not received the replacement or even a meaningful update.
When I followed up, I was told that they are still waiting to process my replacement and that, once processed, it could take another up to 2 weeks at least. In other words, after paying £499 for the Oura Ring 5, I am potentially looking at around a month without a working ring simply because the product developed a fault.
Honestly, this is not the level of customer service I expected for a premium product at this price point. If something goes wrong, having to wait around a month for a replacement is extremely disappointing.
I genuinely loved the Oura product initially, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I hope Oura can improve its replacement process and customer support, because this experience has seriously affected my confidence in the brand.
Oura is a fantastic company they believe in satisfying the Customer, I would definitely recommend them if any one is looking to buy a Oura ring. Thank you Oura
I had an issue with my Oura 4 , I contacted the company via the help chat function and within an hour I had my ring issue diagnosed and a new one shipped out as it was under warranty. I received an email confirming everything. Helpful & hassle free service. Thank you Oura 😉
A few days ago I reached out to Oura regarding a concern I had with my ring. The team seamlessly between two team members and their chat tool recognized my issue and resolved it very quickly.
What impressed me most is the team took ownership of the issue and resolved to fix it for me without me needing to ask. It was a great experience from the first contact to the final resolution email.
Great communication and great response.
Thank you.

Customer service was fantastic.. was having trouble as my ring was not holding a charge as long. Got a full replacement. Would completely recommend Oura rings.
If I could rate them a zero, I would. I received an empty box after paying about 550$. No ring, nothing. I thought oh, easy fix, I’ll just email them and they’ll send me my product I paid for. NOPE! Claim the package “weighed what it should” and absolute refuse to replace or refund the item (which I never received mind you). It has been the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever encountered in my life. Would NOT recommend.
Pretty cool device. The app malfunctions a lot and when you click to confirm activity or sleep it just won't do it the first few times or sometimes at all. Sometimes it won't load your activity at all. They also signed me up for the annual plan when I only agreed to the monthly plan.
I’ve had my Oura ring for over 4 years and upgraded over time and love the innovation the company and my ring
I’ve just recently been working with Celine in central customers
Services and can put my hand on my heart and soul and say thank you 🙏 Celine demonstrated that unreasonable hospitality exists in a sense that the anticipation of customer needs and concerns are considered Oura customer service is world class and if Michelin Stars were
Awarded in this sector there would have to be a new grading as 4 stars here … hats off to you Celine and Oura .. empowerment to your front line is unbelievable… one very happy client who’s life time value grows stronger and stronger 🙏
I paid $500 for my Oura Ring, and it stopped working while it was still relatively new — my warranty had only just lapsed in May. When I reached out to support, I was told the ring had a confirmed hardware failure, but because I was just outside the coverage window, my only options were:
A $100 discount toward a brand-new ring (later "escalated" to $200)A "like-new" refurbished replacement for $89 plus shipping and tax, backed by only a 90-day warrantySo after already spending $500 on a ring that failed on its own, my choices were to spend another $300+ on a new one, or gamble on a used unit that could break again right after the 90 days are up — putting me right back in this exact position.
This was the first issue I've ever had with the product, and there was no real path to a fair resolution — no full replacement, no meaningful discount, nothing that treated a legitimate hardware failure like the company's problem rather than mine. Being offered a few months of free membership as a consolation didn't come close to making up for a $500 device that simply stopped working.
For a product in this price range, I expected better quality and a company that stands behind it when something breaks through no fault of the customer. I can't recommend Oura until their approach to hardware failures and warranty edge cases actually reflects the price people are paying.
My wife and I both a new Oura 5 rings for about a month now. We like the ring, although it is mostly plastic for $500. Its comfortable to wear and excellent batter life so far. The app is good, although it takes some time for the software to learn your metrics (that's normal). The bad thing is customer service. We were never able to get the "refer a friend" discount after going back and forth with customer service no less than 20 times. They said at the onset my wife, who purchased her ring first, could just touch the referral link, it wasn't on the app. CS said it was a software glitch and would be fixed soon, that was 4 weeks ago... Then came the back and forth, always a reason why to wouldn't work, and multiple service reps complain about how busy they are... Even if you are you communicate that to your customers. So as of today I am protesting the entire charge in an effort of finally get someone's attention. Two other points to be aware. The you requests a manager they say they aren't any, if you can believe that. Also, when you purchase the ring they provide a 30 day trial of the app service, which you need to access all of the features. The reason the refer a friend doesn't work in my option is your purchase triggers the app trial, which in turn does not permit you to refer a friend. You have to wait until day 30. Of course this is not mentioned anywhere or by anyone. I'd expect this from a US based company, but not these guys. If we had it do over again I'm not sure we'd do it due to these issues. Bottom line, customer service terrible and dishonest, plastic ring, high initial cost, and requirement to pay the annual fee to really use it.
